The lighting brand "yomosugara" is exhibiting at Milan Design Week 2025

Takasho Digitec Co., Ltd., .digitec_official a Japanese outdoor lighting specialist (Headquarters: Kainan City, Wakayama Prefecture; President: Ryosuke Furusawa), and Tangent, a globally renowned design studio (Headquarters: London, UK / Tokyo, Japan; Director: Hideki Yoshimoto), will debut their new outdoor lighting brand “yomosugara” at Milan Design Week 2025, taking place from April 7 to 13 in Milan, Italy. The exhibition will be held at the ‘Cavallerizze’ area of the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology.

”yomosugara” is a new outdoor lighting brand that redefines‘ Japanese lighting’ with a contemporary design that is not bound by traditional Japanese lighting and uses soft light in harmony with the original Japanese landscape and nature, and proposes ways to spend the night in the garden. At this Milan Design Week, we are exhibiting a total of seven products in three series -Shobu, Suiren and Kodama.

屋外照明専門メーカーの株式会社タカショーデジテック（本社：和歌山県海南市代表取締役社長：古澤良祐）とTangentは、2025年4月7日〜13日にイタリア・ミラノで開催される世界最大のデザインイベント、ミラノデザインウィーク2025に出展しています。レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチ記念国立科学技術博物館の「Cavallerizze（カヴァッレリッツェ）」エリアにて、屋外照明ブランド『yomosugara（よもすがら）』を世界に向けて公開中です。

『yomosugara』は、これまでの伝統的な和風照明にとらわれない現代的なデザインと、日本の原風景や自然と調和したやわらかな灯りで、“和の照明”を再定義し、夜の庭の過ごし方を提案する屋外照明の新ブランドです。今回のミラノデザインウィークでは、Shobu、Suiren、Kodamaの3シリーズ、計7製品を会場に展示しています。

【「yomosugara」六本木アートナイト2024出展のお知らせ】

株式会社タカショーデジテックとTangentが共同プロデュースした屋外照明ブランド「yomosugara」は、9月27日～29日に開催される六本木アートナイト2024に参加しています。期間中六本木ヒルズ内の毛利庭園をライトアップしています。

屋外照明の新ブランド「yomosugara（よもすがら）]は、和の空間での使用だけでなく、さまざまな空間に取り入れられるデザインとなっており、海外の設計者・デザイナーや日本文化に関心の高い層をターゲットに、海外市場を主軸とした日本発の屋外照明ブランドとして展開しています。

「yomosugara」の開発では、Tangentがプロダクトデザイン、VIデザイン、アートディレクションを担当しました。照明デザインでは、日本の原風景や日本人の自然に対する考え方にフォーカスした、3シリーズ４製品を展開しています。端正な菖蒲の凛とした姿をモチーフにした間接光の灯具「Shobu」。水面に睡蓮の葉が浮かぶしんとした静寂な風景を表現する「Suiren」。樹木に宿る精霊をその名に冠した「Kodama」。自然に寄り添ったデザインは心安らぐ夜の灯りとして、やわらかな和の空気を醸し出します。

【レクチャー開催のお知らせ】
日本の伝統工芸と現代的なアイデア、テクノロジーを繋ぐプロジェクト「Craft x Tech」は、2024年8月19日 (月) 18時より、東大エネオスホールにて、特別公開レクチャーシリーズ Vol.6 拡大版「会津本郷焼 x Hideki Yoshimoto / LEXUS x 越前和紙 x Tangent」を開催します。

Craft x Tech Tohoku Project 2024レクチャーシリーズの最終回となるVol. 6は、拡大版として二部構成にて特別なコンテンツをご提供します。

第一部では、東北唯一の磁器の産地である会津本郷焼の窯元、株式会社流紋焼の代表取締役弓田修司氏と、Craft x Techプロジェクトの総合プロデューサー・クリエイティブディレクターを務めつつもデザイナーとしての顔も持つ吉本英樹によるレクチャーを開催します。

第二部では、本プロジェクトのスポンサーであるレクサスインターナショナルのレクサスデザイン部長の須賀厚一氏、および越前和紙の老舗問屋杉原商店の十代目を務める杉原吉直氏をお招きします。本年のミラノデザインウィーク2024にて出展されたレクサス x 越前和紙 x Tangentによるインスタレーションについて、"Craft x Tech"という切り口でのお話を伺います。

Craft x Tech will be holding the last lecture series, Vol. 6, with special content.
The first part of the lecture will be held by Shuji Yumita and Hideki Yoshimoto, with special focus on the Aizu Hongo Yaki collaboration for the Craft x Tech Tohoku Project 2024.
For the second half, we will invite collaborators for the special installation exhibited at Milan Design Week 2024 created together with the project’s main sponsor LEXUS.

Tangentの吉本英樹が立ち上げた、日本の伝統工芸と現代的なアイデア、テクノロジーを繋ぐプロジェクト「Craft x Tech」は、2024年6月10日 (月) から16日 (日) まで、スイス・バーゼルで開催される「Design Miami.Basel 2024」に出展します。東北６県の６つの工芸産地とクリエイターのコラボレーションによって生まれた作品を、世界に向けて初披露いたします。

"Craft x Tech" launched by Hideki Yoshimoto (Tangent) is an initiative to bridge traditional Japanese craft and contemporary technology through collaboration between world-class artists and designers and traditional craft industries from various regions. The collaboration works of the Tohoku Project 2024 will be exhibited at this year’s “Design Miami.Basel 2024,” held in Basel, Switzerland, from Tuesday, June 11 to Sunday, June 16, 2024. This will mark the global debut of the works created through collaborations between six craft regions from the Tohoku area in Japan and six creators.

【Craft x Tech展覧会開催のお知らせ】
Tangent 代表の吉本英樹が新たに立ち上げたプロジェクト『Craft x Tech』は、日本の伝統工芸と、国際的に活躍するクリエイターとのコラボレーションにより、革新的なプロダクトやアートピースを生み出していくイニシアティブです。第一弾では、東北6県より6つの工芸産地が参加、それぞれがクリエイターとコラボレーションし、作品を制作します。この度、2024年5月24日(金)から25日(土)の2日間、東京千代田区の登録有形文化財「kudan house(九段ハウス)」を会場に、世界に先駆けて、その初披露展示を開催する運びとなりました。
その後、本プロジェクトは、2024 年6 月にスイス、バーゼルで開催される「Design Miami/Basel」、9月にはイギリス、ロンドンで開催される「London Design Festival」に巡回します。

Founded by designer Hideki Yoshimoto, Craft x Tech is an initiative to develop innovative products and art pieces through collaborations between Japanese traditional crafts and international creators. Its inauguration edition invites six districts from six prefectures of the Tohoku (north-east) region of Japan to collaborate with designers in creating an artwork. We are pleased to announce that we will hold an exhibition to unveil our works for the first time at kudan house, a registered cultural property of Chiyoda Ward in Tokyo, for two days from Friday 24 to Saturday 25 May 2024. This project will continue to travel to Design Miami/ Basel in June and London Design Festival in September.

Tangentは、ミラノデザインウィーク2024にて、LEXUSのためのインスタレーション作品『Beyond the Horizon』を制作しました。
ソフトウェアにより常にアップデートされ、ユーザーひとりひとりに寄り添いながら、それぞれに異なる体験価値をもたらすというモビリティの未来に対するLEXUSの考えを、光のスカルプチャーで体現しています。10台のスカルプチャーは、人の動きに反応し、その時々で異なる光を放ちますが、その光と、後方スクリーンに映し出される水平線の移ろい、また、AIにより生成された音楽が三位一体となり、唯一無二のパーソナルな時間、体験を創出します。
作品の中央には、LEXUSの次世代バッテリーEVコンセプト「LF-ZC」が佇み、モビリティの未来に向けた探求と革新の象徴として、そして夜明けから日没へと刻々と変化する水平線の彼方への案内人として、来場者を迎えます。1,500年続く越前和紙を取り入れた本作は、未来に向かいながらも、日本の伝統素材や匠の技を尊重するLEXUSの姿勢を現しています。

Tangent created an installation called “Beyond the Horizon” for LEXUS, which was exhibited at Milan Design Week 2024.
The work is an interactive installation inspired by a future where the personal experiential value of mobility can be tailored to the individual by constantly updating a vehicle’s software. The immersive installation features a line of two-metre-high sculptures. Although these seem uniform in appearance, each one emits unique lighting effects to create different atmospheres.
The LF-ZC car is positioned at the centre of the work, symbolizing innovation and future mobility. Tangent blends state-of-the-art technology with time-honoured Japanese craftsmanship in a giant (four metres high by 30 metres wide) projection screen showing ever-changing vistas of the horizon. Its material draws on the 1,500-year heritage of Echizen ‘washi’ paper.

Milan Design Week 2024のお知らせです。

LEXUSがイタリア・ミラノで開催される世界最大のデザインイベント「ミラノデザインウィーク2024」に出展。Tangent（代表：吉本英樹）は、オランダ出身のソーラーデザイナー、マーヤン・ファン・オーベル氏と共に“Time”をテーマに、LEXUSの次世代モビリティが目指す人間中心の思想と、テクノロジーによる絶え間ない進化を示唆するインタラクティブアートを展示いたします。

会場は、世界中のクリエーションが集結するトルトーナ地区の中心である、スーパースタジオ・ピュー内アートポイントとアートガーデン。同敷地内の２つの展示スペースに２組の作品を展開します。Tangentとマーヤン・ファン・オーベル氏が表現するインスタレーション「Time」では、いかにソフトウェアと統合したハードウェアの時代がカスタマイズされた体験の可能性を無限に広げ、各個人をシームレスに予見し、進化させるかを探求しています。

Tangentは、LEXUSの次世代バッテリーEVコンセプト「LF-ZC」（Lexus Future Zero-emission Catalyst）に着想を得て、ソフトウェアによって無限に進化し続ける次世代モビリティの世界を表現した『BEYOND THE HORIZON』を発表いたします。「LF-ZC」をデザインに取り入れ、ハードウェアとソフトウェアの相乗効果により、クルマによってもたらされる体験価値とは何かを表現しています。会場では、渋谷慶一郎氏の音楽と共に、来場者を没入感のある世界へ誘います。
