This simple solution of inserting a wide complementary grosgrain border into the first pleat of the simple off white blackout curtain and a narrower version along both edges of the blind tied everything neatly together.

Our solution was to layer striking roman blinds over sheer linen style privacy roller blinds. These complemented a pair of vivid red and gold seat cushions on a bespoke window seat we designed for extra storage.
