We’re putting together a Pink Gorilla Collective guide featuring brilliant gifts from independent businesses across the UK, and we’d love to see yours.

Bristol, I’m coming to you! 🦍💗

I’m running a free small business workshop at Sparks on Thursday 1 October, 12–4pm. If you want help with your business, social media or getting yourself out there, I’d love you to join me.

This is a bit of a test run for me too. I want to see how much we can get done together in an afternoon and whether I can take these workshops to more places. You don’t need to have everything figured out, and there are no right or wrong answers on the application form. Just tell me where you’re at.

A little hit of Zoe history I stumbled across…

Rock Beauty London. My nail and beauty product brand from way back in 2011.

I’d almost forgotten just how bloody proud I was of this. The products, the colours, the photography and the creative direction. Looking at these images now, I still love all of it. I actually think it’s stood the test of time.

The business itself went spectacularly t**s up, obviously.

But before it did, I created something brilliant. I learned loads, made mistakes, took risks and proved to myself that I could take an idea out of my head and turn it into something real.

Not everything we build is meant to last forever. Sometimes it’s there to teach us what we need for whatever comes next.

Anyway, here’s a little trip back to 2011, when I was the very proud founder of Rock Beauty London. 💅

Last year I closed the chapter on Muck N Brass.

This account has been my home for years. It’s where I shared my creations, built an incredible community and proved that you don’t need millions of followers to build something meaningful.

But life changes. So do we.

Over the last year I’ve realised my passion has shifted. I’ll still be creating behind the scenes for private projects, but I won’t be making collections to sell here anymore.

This summer I’m stepping away from London to focus entirely on building The Pink Gorilla Collective, something I’ve wanted to create for years. It’s for small business owners who are ready to stop collecting information and start getting things done.

Behind the scenes, the Wellness Tavern is also growing into something much bigger than I ever imagined. I can’t say too much just yet, but I’m hoping to share more towards the end of August.

So you’ll probably see a little less of me on this account.
