In a city as fast-moving as São Paulo, space to slow down matters.

One Sixty Cyrela by YOO was designed around openness, greenery and shared living - bringing together private residences, social spaces and indoor-outdoor environments within the centre of the city.

From the poolside areas to the clubhouse and landscaped terraces, the project creates a more balanced approach to contemporary urban living, connected to the energy of São Paulo, whilst offering moments of calm away from it.

People aren't moving away from cities. They're redefining what they want from them.

Walkability, nature, community, hospitality and places that feel connected to everyday life.

The future of urban living isn't slower; it's smarter, healthier and designed around the people who call it home.

Culture isn't an addition to the design process. It's an integral part of it.

For Design Director, Hannah, understanding local culture is where every project begins.

From the first moodboards through to the final details, YOO's design approach is shaped by the people, traditions, materials and creative communities that already exist within a location.

Whether working with local artisans, drawing on regional craftsmanship or reflecting the character of a place through design, the aim is never to create something that could exist anywhere.

It's to create spaces that feel connected to where they belong.

TEMBO, YOO’s first product collection developed in collaboration with Apaiser, has been awarded Best Bathroom Fixtures at the NYCxDESIGN Awards 2026.

Rooted in sculptural simplicity and sensory living, the collection reflects a shared vision where design goes beyond function to shape atmosphere, ritual and experience. Inspired by the Swahili word for elephant, TEMBO expresses quiet strength and permanence through grounded, architectural forms designed to anchor the surrounding space.

An exciting milestone for the beginning of YOO’s product collaboration journey.

What if residential living borrowed more from hospitality?

One Sixty Cyrela was designed around shared spaces, indoor-outdoor living and environments that feel open, relaxed and easy to move through.

From the clubhouse to the poolside areas, the project reflects a more contemporary approach to city living - less rigid, more connected to everyday life.

Jeddah moves differently.

Long evenings, sea air and a city shaped by hospitality and coastline culture.

The Vue was designed around that setting - balancing contemporary architecture with open space, natural light and a stronger connection to the Red Sea surrounding it.

A residential experience influenced by the coastline, climate and culture of Jeddah itself.

A month after our return from Salone del Mobile, we’ve finally had the chance to reflect on some of our favourite experiences from this year’s 🩵

From the fluid forms and hand-blown glass at Rossana Orlandi to the experimental material storytelling of Alcova, Milan Design Week reminded YOO Studio how design can feel both playful and deeply human.

This year, materiality, craftsmanship, and atmosphere stood out across the exhibitions - from tactile glass, ceramics, and immersive textiles, to sculptural lighting and richly layered interiors.

Elle Decor’s Refettorio at Palazzo Bovara transformed the dining table into a theatrical yet intimate space for gathering and reflection, while L’Appartamento by Artemest drew us back to the Naples room with its rich plum velvet and dramatic textures.

Aesop’s Factory of Light offered a poetic reflection on light and materiality, and finally, “When Apricots Blossom” explored heritage, resilience, and contemporary craft through everyday life, culture, and community.

Across the week, rich muted tones, glossy lacquer finishes, and a continued nod to 70s-inspired interiors revealed themselves throughout Milan ✨

At The Falcon, it comes down to how a space works - light, materials, proportions - kept simple but well considered. Designed by YOO, inspired by Starck, the focus is on livability as much as aesthetics: calm, comfortable, and easy to settle into 🤍

From the private residences to the shared spaces, everything is resolved without excess; just a clear balance between design and comfort. Not just good to look at, good to live in.
