Our clients at our Kew Edwardian family home project felt it was time to revisit spaces last renovated over a decade ago.

Starting with the en suite, we replaced a small shower with a generous undermounted bath and introduced plenty of clever storage, including a concealed cupboard above the loo, a generous vanity and a handy shelf at the end of the bath.

Colourful Zellige floor tiles and tongue-and-groove panelling bring texture, warmth and character. We chose classic chrome brassware, layering in antique brass on the mirror, lighting and k***s to add contrast and a more collected feel.

HOUSE TOUR - this converted bakery was a blank canvas when we were asked to create a comfortable, layered interior. A place to unwind and entertain family and friends. It was a privilege to design such a unique and interesting space - another hidden spot in London that has been brought back to life.

The open plan living at our converted bakery project is perfect for entertaining and parties. With a bespoke dining bench and upholstered leather chairs, there is plenty of space for family and friends.

The apartment was a blank canvas that was originally done by a developer. We have retained the kitchen units but have added lots of additional layered lighting and a shelf to display art and kitchenware.

The master bedroom at our converted bakery project - a wonderful mix of calm colours, antiques and vintage woven fabrics.

We’ve loved embracing a more masculine vibe in this room which compliments the industrial heritage of the building.

We’ve been rather quiet here on Instagram over the last couple of months, but behind the scenes we’ve been busy photographing several recently completed projects, that we are so excited to finally start sharing them with you.

First up, a converted bakery in Battersea.

We embraced the apartment’s industrial heritage, retaining the dramatic vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork and steel structure, while introducing softer, more decorative elements to bring warmth, character and comfort to the space. We absolutely loved working on this one — so much so, that we’ve decided as soon as our children have flown the nest, we are moving somewhere just like it!

And suddenly, it’s September! 🍂

We’ve had a busy summer photographing some of our recently completed projects in Barnes and Battersea, with Chelsea, Kew and Wandsworth still to come this month.

Meanwhile, projects in Wimbledon and Fulham are moving towards installation, we’re starting to implement newly signed-off designs in Acton and Crouch End, and are at the exciting early stages of new projects in Dulwich and Wandsworth, working alongside the architects as the plans begin to take shape.

Add to that four children to dispatch to university and September is looking decidedly busy!

Here is a little glimpse of our Battersea project on shoot day, with Alex and me making a rare appearance in front of the camera!

We’re excited to be shooting four of our projects over the summer, and here’s a little peek from the first in Barnes.

This wisteria-clad terrace creates the most inviting transition between house and garden, layered with greenery, relaxed seating and plenty of texture. And during this week’s heatwave, we can’t think of a better spot to keep cool than tucked beneath this beautifully shaded roof.

First day of WOW! house 2026, and here are some of our highlights.

1–4. The Drawing Room by for . We particularly loved the hand-blocked Titli linen wallcovering and the beautiful kilim rug from . The domed rooflight, which cleverly conceals the air-conditioning, is a masterclass in combining practicality with elegant design.

5–7. The Speakeasy Salon by for . With its seductive curves and layered finishes, this space feels both intimate and luxurious. The hidden bar area, featuring the Imani wallcovering, is the perfect spot for a cocktail.

8–10. The Primary Bedroom by for is beautifully inviting. The floral Constance print envelops the walls and club fender, while the bespoke wardrobes lined with Gussie voile add charm and craftsmanship. Look closely at image 9 and you'll spot speakers hidden within a copy of The English Home.

11. The Withdrawing Room by for is a delightful cornucopia of collectibles and curiosities. Wrapped in Primavera across the walls, ceiling and curtains, it feels wonderfully immersive yet comfortable.

12–13. The Dining Room by for is a masterclass in timeless elegance. The terracotta Gavotte Brocatelle damask wallcovering provides a rich backdrop for the stunning chandelier and carefully curated antiques.

14–15. The Garden Folly Room by is a rich celebration of jewel-toned reds and greens. We’ve long admired the Ellis linen from on the armchairs and love the tiles framing the banquette.

For the past four years, I’ve taken a trip with my parents to a different city — and this year it was beautiful Budapest 🇭🇺

My camera roll is now basically a collection of intricately painted ceilings, colourful roof tiles, and charming streets that looked straight out of a Wes Anderson film.

We completely fell for this vibrant city — rich in history, full of stunning architecture, incredible food, and some of the friendliest people.

1 & 2. Matthias Church at Buda Castle, famous for its roof covered in almost 150,000 colourful ceramic tiles made by the renowned Hungarian Porcelain factory

3 & 4. Golden hour cruising along the Danube

4. Ornate ceilings inside the Hungarian Parliament Building

5. One of the many beautifully painted buildings in Buda

6. The breathtaking Moorish-style ceiling inside Dohány Street Synagogue, the largest synagogue in Europe

7. Riverside cocktails as the sun went down

8 & 9. Exploring Hungarian folklore and crafts after dinner

10. A cardamom bullar from at one of the best pastries I’ve ever eaten

11. Who knew the Rubik's Cube was invented in Budapest?

12. Ending the trip with lunch surrounded by its lush greenery

Here are a few examples of how we’ve balanced investment pieces with more considered savings across our projects:

1: Marylebone pied-à-terre
Storage and comfort were key, so we invested in well-designed joinery and a fully bespoke sofa, while saving on side tables.

2. Dulwich bedroom
Our client wanted a true sanctuary. We prioritised these sheer curtains for privacy, layered behind blackout curtains by .interiors in beautiful hand-printed linen. We saved by sourcing French antique bedside tables from .antiques .

3. Barbican living room
We invested in a bespoke sofa and a customised armchair in fabric, alongside statement joinery by . We balanced this with more affordable pieces from and .

4. Abbeville Village
We splurged on a stunning sofa and chaise, and paired these with savings on a mirror and an antique side table.

A thoughtful mix of high and low is often what makes a scheme feel truly layered and personal.
