The Vintage collection remains close to the core of what we do. Over the years, we have expanded the designs and colours, but also the range of products. The strict width of the antique fabric – determined by the size of the old flying looms – pushed us to find creative ways to work with the cloth. What began as a traditional towel selection now includes table runners and cushion covers.

Every so often, inspiration strikes, and an old motif, like this Autumn Leaves pattern, is reunited with its original hand-carved wooden block, to be stamped once again onto pure linen.

The overlapping lines of the Gingham cushion cover create a darker shade where they cross, leaving an imprint that makes the pattern look almost embossed against the linen canvas.

Because the wooden blocks are struck by hand, the pigment deepens naturally each time the stamp overlaps, leaving areas where the dye sits heavier or lighter across the entire fabric. That is why every cushion comes away from the printing table with its own distinct look.

Block-printed in a traditional, beautiful Rosso Porpora pigment, the Roma h**p linen throw and cushions are made to live out in the garden, on a wooden bench, or on the sofa – pieces you can simply carry with you wherever you prefer.

Because raw h**p fibres are naturally temperature-regulating, the fabric breathes in the midday sun and holds in your body heat as soon as the night turns cold.

The landscape around Bertozzi’s workshop is defined by the olive trees that characterise the hills of our region. Over time, these surroundings have inspired different designs:

• The traditional multi-colour branch motif captures the look of ripening olives.
• The Leccino pattern takes a modern approach, scattering dense clusters of slender leaves across the fabric.
• The Ulivo design combines broad hand-painted strokes with precise block-printed details.

All three are among our most popular pieces - perhaps because the olive tree itself feels like a classic choice for the home.

Woven and decorated by hand, these linen tea towels bring a century of unbroken textile heritage into the modern kitchen. Each piece is printed at the Stamperia Bertozzi workshop using hand-carved pear-wood blocks and family dye recipes.

The collection includes four iconic Stampa Romagnola designs, pairing Ears of Wheat & Grapes with traditional rust, Bunches of Grapes with forest green, Pomegranates with deep red, and Thistles with classic blue.

Our upcoming tablecloth collection features the Beatrice design in two different block-printed styles.

One version shows the brocade-inspired pattern hand-stamped in deep brown onto natural linen. The other uses a resist-printing technique, revealing the motif in the colour of the base fabric against a hand-painted blue background.
