A lovely late 18th century twin fusee verge escapement moonphase bracket clock by this very talented 18th century clockmaker. EARDLEY NORTON is engraved in this case to the dial Yeldrae Notron. There has been lots of discussion about why he did this, avoiding tax on export clocks was one verdict. For whatever reason a beautiful clock.
