Element One House is an e-furniture boutique created by Interior Stylist, Margaret Bourke and TV Presenter and Stylist, Jordana Ashkenazi. When decorating and styling Jordana’s new home, we struggled to find pieces of unique and stylish furniture at the right price both in stores and on-line. We would scour the internet and head out on shopping expeditions only to return empty handed. The only opt

ion being to pay a King’s ransom for a piece of furniture which would mean the rest of Jordana’s house would be bare! So we put our heads together and decided to do what we love…shopping!! The Element One House e-furniture boutique felt like a natural progression. We love to do the hunting for you to provide you with the latest furniture trends at affordable prices. We believe that everyone should be able to afford a bit of style in their home so you can be proud of your home with the individual pieces from our exciting range. Make sure you check back here regularly as we are constantly adding new products to our collections!

Just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it’s elegant.

From marble everywhere and crushed velvet, to silver carpets, mirrored furniture and oversized statement lighting, I shared my verdict with the Daily Mail on the celebrity homes that scream “new money” and the design choices that can instantly cheapen a space.

The most luxurious interiors aren’t usually the loudest.

They’re layered, considered, timeless and know when to stop.

Design concept approved by our client ✔️

A little glimpse into our Kensington dressing room concept… traditional detailing, antique bronze finishes, arched display moments and just enough boutique energy.

Not gonna lie… I definitely want to move in now 🤍

Spoke to the Daily Mail this week about the flooring choices that instantly elevate a home… and the ones that can quietly cheapen a space 👀

From faux marble and ultra gloss tiles to real wood flooring, underfloor heating and celebrity homes getting it right (or very wrong), I shared my take on what works, what doesn’t… and which trends are tasteful versus instant regret.

Think: love it or leave it — interiors edition ✨

Stopped by our Clapham project for a site visit to check on the progress and put the hard hat on… but then it started giving full glam fashion vibes, so obviously I had to stop for a quick photoshoot because it would’ve been wrong not to 😂 Hope my clients don’t mind.

Next shoot pending… me in a high-vis vest. 😜

Another little gem from the Stoke Newington development we recently staged for ✨

Beautifully restored with so much character, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom maisonette has incredible natural light, huge outdoor space and such a gorgeous feel throughout.

Guest bathroom concept designed to balance warmth, texture and understated luxury. We wanted the space to feel calm and neutral, but still have real depth, contrast and personality.

The striking Arabescato marble creates a beautiful focal point and adds movement and character throughout the room, while the warm natural woods, soft neutral tones and antique brass details keep everything feeling relaxed, inviting and timeless rather than cold or overly minimal. We also used soft neutral KitKat tiles within the shower to bring subtle texture without overpowering the space.

One of the biggest design mistakes in bathrooms is making everything feel too flat or clinical. The balance between statement marble, layered textures, warm woods, softer lighting and natural finishes is what gives this space that elevated boutique hotel feel while still feeling homely and liveable for everyday life.

Try something like this for the second reel so it feels connected but not repetitive:

Always love staging properties for one of my favourite clients,

This beautiful Stoke Newington apartment is part of a traditional building that has been completely brought back to life through a thoughtful refurbishment.

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, beautiful outdoor space, and calm refined interiors designed to help buyers emotionally connect with the home the moment they walk through the door.

The team have done such a gorgeous job on this development, and we loved adding the final styling touches.

A look at the direction for the bespoke bar area we’re designing for a client’s home in West London.

Warm oak tones, fluted joinery, soft architectural curves, antique brass detailing and layered textures to create something that feels calm, timeless and quietly luxurious.

The aim was to move away from anything overly glossy or trend-led and instead create a space that feels inviting, refined and beautifully integrated into the home.

One of my favourite elements is the oversized arch framing the entire bar space, giving it that almost boutique hotel feel while still feeling warm and liveable.

Excited to bring this one to life.

The Daily Mail asked me this week whether some of the biggest bathroom trends are actually causing “bathroom regret” 👀

From wet rooms without proper drainage, showers with no ventilation, impossible-to-clean fittings and bathroom caddies cluttering every corner… some designs may look incredible on Pinterest and social media, but if they’re not planned properly, they can quickly become frustrating to live with.

Good bathroom design isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about function, practicality and creating a space that still feels luxurious six months later.
