Progress in Birdham. Scotlarch cladding installed and starting to weather off nicely.
The larch has been treated with a specialist silicate coating which helps the timber weather off more evenly and faster than untreated timber. This is 1 month after install. We'll see what happens 😱

Things starting to take shape at our renovation project new Birdham, West Sussex. 🙌
Render complete and new Velfac units being installed by the fantastic team at . Vertical larch rain screen cladding next week.

The property is located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with planning permission for the work granted in early 2016. In addition to completely renovating the interior of the home, the brief was to transform the exterior of the property to create a striking contemporary home. Proposals include creating large openings in the facades to connect the interior spaces with a series of new terraces surrounding the property. White stained vertical timber boards are to be added as a veneer to the ground floor walls to impart a more contemporary silhouette on the 1960's architecture. .

Things starting to take shape at our renovation project new Birdham, West Sussex. 🙌
Render complete and new Velfac units being installed by the fantastic team at Westcott Construction. Vertical larch rain screen cladding next week.
