☀️ Long weekends like this remind us that good design shouldn’t stop at the front door.
With the scorching heat this weekend, life has naturally moved outside — slow mornings, afternoon naps in the shade, long conversations, and moments of doing absolutely nothing. And honestly… that’s luxury.

Outdoor spaces deserve the same attention as interiors. A few colourful cushions, layered textures, plants, lanterns, and comfortable seating can completely transform a garden corner into a true living space — one that invites you to pause, unwind and simply enjoy summer.
Here, touches of sunny yellow, warm orange and soft pink bring energy and joy against the greenery, creating a little holiday feeling at home. 🌿☀️
Because a home isn’t only about how it looks. It’s about how it allows you to live.

I keep telling clients that a well-designed space should feel inviting…
Clearly, mine is a little too inviting!

When your colour palette, cushion styling and textural layering all whisper “comfort” — and your dog hears “this entire sofa is now your personal kingdom.”

At this point, I’m not sure if I’ve created a living room… or a five-star canine retreat with a scenic mural backdrop.
Either way, 10/10 for blending monochrome toile with black-and-white fur. Très harmonieux. Happy weekend!

A living room can be so much more than a place to sit. It can be a space that truly nurtures your rituals, your creativity, and your sense of calm.

For my Kingston client, evenings are precious moments for reading, music, and cross-stitch. Instead of forcing one layout, I designed three distinct zones that celebrate these rituals:

🎹 A piano corner that feels grounding and expressive.
📖 A reading & making nook, anchored by a gallery wall of her own cross-stitch creations.
🛋 A sofa zone layered with colour, plants, and lighting for warmth and connection.

It’s a reminder that design isn’t about filling a room with furniture — it’s about shaping a space that reflects who you are and supports how you live.

Conservatories are full of light — but that same sunlight can quickly turn them into spaces that are uncomfortable or hard to maintain. The secret is choosing materials and layouts that work with the sun, not against it.

For my Kingston client, I transformed her conservatory into a lush indoor-garden dining room, perfect for gatherings and daily enjoyment. The design choices made all the difference:

- A round dining table that brings people together in a convivial setting.
- A curated mix of plants to blur indoors and outdoors.
- Layered lighting so evenings feel just as inviting as daytimes.
- Outdoor-grade furniture and performance fabrics that resist fading, heat, and sunlight — so beauty and comfort last for years.

Now the space feels vibrant in summer, cocooning in winter — and always ready for life to unfold. What do you think?

Summer is about living outdoors as beautifully as indoors. In our Provence home, I love playing with bright oranges, sun-kissed yellows, and cheerful patterns to mirror the joy and warmth of this stunning location.

From floral deck chairs by the pool to striped tablecloths and colourful tableware for lazy afternoons, every detail is a nod to the carefree spirit of summer. Even the cushions on the sun loungers bring bursts of colour that make the space feel alive, inviting, and ready for moments of slow living.

Tip: You don’t need a complete makeover to capture that summer feeling—just a few vibrant textiles, outdoor seating updates, or fresh table settings can transform your garden into your personal retreat.
