A glimpse behind the curtain into Edward Bulmer’s Grand Gallery – an intimate space centred around a marble fireplace and flanked by gilt baroque columns. The room is painted in Wainscot, a deep velvety brown from Edward Bulmer’s collection.

Throughout our exhibition Antiques in Colour, the galleries explore different historical periods through antiques, craftsmanship and colour.

Centred around an architects table and glazed cabinets, these become an archive of knowledge and a focal point of creative activity. Henriette von Stockhausen of brings her signature layered aesthetic to Antiques in Colour with
a gallery inspired by timeless English decoration and beautifully crafted antiques. Drawing together Regency
furniture and carefully considered decorative pieces, Henriette’s installation in the window gallery explores how antiques continue to shape contemporary interiors.
