A visit to the Kisumu Museum felt like stepping into stories passed down through generations. From traditional Luo homesteads and fishing culture to livestock, wildlife, hunting, and gathering, every corner carried a quiet sense of history and identity.

The moment that stayed with me most was the traditional Luo dance by — the rhythm, the energy, the joy… it brought the whole experience to life.

Places like this remind us just how rich and beautiful our culture truly is. 🇰🇪

A pair of vintage Kambata headrests from Ethiopia, hand-carved in wood and shaped through both function and time.
