All jokes aside, renovations rarely go to plan...
A delivery gets delayed. A tradesperson drops out. Something behind a wall that nobody expected. A decision that felt right on paper and needs rethinking in real life.
This is not the exception, this is just how it goes.
The difference between a renovation that feels manageable and one that keeps you up at night isn’t whether things go wrong...
It’s whether you have someone in your corner when they do.
That’s a large part of what working with an interior designer actually means.
Not just the beautiful end result, but having someone who has navigated this before. Someone who can problem solve without panic, source an alternative without starting from scratch, and keep the vision intact when the process gets messy.
The project you can see here had its moments (most do!), but the client never had to carry the weight of that alone.
A renovation done well is one of the most worthwhile things you can invest in. It just helps to have the right person with you for the whole of it.
If you’re thinking about a project and not sure where to begin, let’s have a conversation about what that process could look like for you.
