This is what happens when two rugs are used within the same space - layers of texture, pattern and colour that feel deeply personal rather than designed. Both pieces are one-of-a-kind, hand-made by Berber artisans in Morocco. No two are ever the same - which is exactly the point.

S L O W S U N N Y S U N D A Y S // My love of Rif pottery - The antidote to mass produced, each piece has soul and character with their haphazard charm, wobbly lines, irregular burn marks from the traditional kilns, and rustic materials found from the land in the Rif mountains where these are made by Berber women in a tradition passed down through the generations 🤍

S L O W S U N D A Y S // A rug for all the seasons...

We love the way that these rugs work through the seasons - they add so much interest to a space in the summer, with the light picking up on the colours, depth and detail, and feel so nice to walk across in bare feet. In the winter they take on a new role adding an enticing cosiness and much needed layer.
