Two distinct wine cellars, one refined restaurant.
Row on 5 excels in every element, including their incredible wine list, created and delivered by @.dupuy. A superb wine list requires only the finest wine storage. Two such areas within Row on 5 is the DRC wine cabinet and the hidden door.

The DRC wine cabinet offers the ultimate backdrop to one of the restaurants open kitchen areas. Each hand has been 3D cast based on the hands of . Imagine having a wine wall with your own hands holding the wine collection, it doesn't get much more bespoke than that!

The second space shown is the infinity mirror, secret door. With individual stands, bottles proudly stand tall, with the visuals of 'never ending wine', what a thought!

The best wine cellars, like the best teams, are built to perform.

England proved that in Dallas last night. Four goals, a captain who delivered when it mattered, and a squad built not for occasion but for outcome. This wine wall, also in Texas, works on the same principle. Temperature-controlled throughout, pin racking for visibility and access, lower case storage for bottles ageing out of sight. It looks the way it does because every element is doing something.

A statement piece providing storage for their wine collection. Each bottle is displayed through the glass doors, stored within a range of racking styles, including angled racking, ideal for showing off the labels to diners. With fluted backing and dark walnut racking and exterior, this wine wall has a classic appearance, designed to last, even through the daily use of a busy restaurant.

Custom wine storage to truly show off the wine collection.
Integrated into the kitchen/living area, this wine cellar becomes a core part of the home. Plenty of open glass lets the bottles do the talking! From the tempature control, through the racking and even down to the matt black door and framework, every element of this project was designed and built by Sorrells hands.

A curved wine wall presents a problem most workshops would turn away.
The curvature here was dictated by the architecture of the room itself, not a design choice, but a structural constraint that had to be met with precision. The oak framework was shaped and jointed in-house. The metal racking, manufactured within the Sorrells fabrication workshop, was formed to follow the same curve. Every element made to a single radius, in one workshop, in Essex.
This is what in-house design and manufacturing actually means: not a fixed range of options, but something made specifically for this room, this brief, this collection.

A wine cellar that works as hard as the hospitality team behind it.

Designed and handcrafted by Sorrells, this bespoke wine cellar at provides temperature-controlled storage for the hotel's collection, ensuring bottles are always ready for service across the restaurant, bar and private dining spaces.

Positioned at the heart of the hotel, the cellar also serves as a feature in its own right. Guests are welcomed by illuminated oak racking, carefully displayed bottles and a cellar that forms part of the wider dining experience.

Practical wine storage for the team. A talking point for guests. A centrepiece for the hotel.

Congratulations to , , and their team. Bringing life back to the old Little Social site, and honouring Spencer’s late grandmother, Rosemary.

It was a pleasure to be part of the renovation journey, designing and creating multiple unique wine walls, providing the much required temperature controlled storage for the restaurant. Chez Rose is giving a relaxed environment with a warm neighbourhood feel, with a menu full of Seasonal British ingredients, cooked in a way that reflects Spencer’s time at the Ritz, with strong nod to French cuisine 🥂

BOTTLE PROFILING
A close detail from a bespoke wine, showing sculpted oak racking with bottle beds cut to the exact curve of each bottle. Rather than using metal cradles, rubber stops, or acrylic holders, at Sorrells we profile the timber itself, so the bottle sits cradled in wood with nothing visible to interrupt the label. The technique is applied across drawers and open display shelves alike, keeping the eye on the wine rather than the hardware. Wine cellar craftsmanship and bespoke joinery from Sorrells.

THE HOME BAR.
Custom made for the space and purpose, this home bar features every element required for serving chilled champaign and the perfect apéritifs. Two wine cabinets offer two very different purposes, one set for storing ready to drink, ideally chilled Champaign, the other has a reduced temperature for the long term storage of the clients fine wine collection. Above, glass shelving displays favoured spirits alongside additional wine storage. The created space not only houses the collection but shows off the bottles, a beautiful display for welcoming guests into the home. Completely custom built by Sorrells.
