Six steps to slip stitch (beginner tutorial)

Step one - make a slipknot
step two - create your foundation chain
Step three - place your hook in the second chain
Step four - yarn over and pull through
Step five - for your second row work in the back loop
Step six -yarn over and pull through

And you have it all you need to learn how to slip stitch ! Perfect for every crocheter out there!

Let’s learn this fun stitch together- front and back post crochet
step one - make a slipknot, create your crochet chain
step two - double crochet your first row
Step three - put your needle behind the post
Step four - yarn over and pull through
Step five - complete double crochet as normal
Step six - do the opposite and place your needle in front of the post
Step seven - complete your double crochet as normal

Here’s a crochet rib effect in 5 steps - Back Loop crochet….

Step one - make a slipknot
Step two - create a chain of any length
Step three - complete your first role of double crochet
Step four - chain two turn your work
Step five - play your hook in the back loop and repeat this for your entire row

Learn how to treble crochet in 9 steps…

Step 1 - create a slipknot
Step 2 - make your foundation chain
Step 3 - yarn over two times on your hook
Step 4 - place your hook in the fourth chain
Step 5- Yarn over
Step 6 - pull through one loop
Step 7- yarn over and pull through two loops
Step 8 - repeat the last step
Step 9 - repeat again to complete the treble crochet
