We were saddened to hear the news of one of our favourite projects, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London announcing that it will close it’s doors in 2027. We realised the private dining room for Heston back in 2016 wanting to create a regal dining experience that was befitting of the history and grandeur of the menu.
We took inspiration from one of the grandest dining halls in the land, Westminster Palace and created a replica of King Richard’s banqueting table with the timber inlaid top being our take on Kin Arthur’s famous round table of legend.
Hand carved dining chairs we created working with the infamous artist, Dave Mckean to bring to life the ingredients of Heston’s menus as carved effigies that sit atop each dining chair- making each chair unique.
As one chapter closes a new one will open, and we wish Heston and the team future luck with the next Dinner to be served.
