📚 Week 4/52: Floral Phone box
Who says you can’t teach an old box new tricks? These iconic red phone boxes, once the lifeline of London’s communication, have found a beautiful second calling as tiny libraries. When I first discovered one near my home, it felt like stumbling upon a magical portal where technology’s past meets community’s future.
In this illustration, I wanted to capture that moment of wonder - Each shelf holds not just books, but the spirit of neighborhood sharing, proving that even in our digital age, there’s something special about leaving a book and taking a book.
Here’s to London’s little literary landmarks, standing proud in their original red coats but with completely different stories to tell.
