Now we're back up and running we can formally thank some very important people for their help and assistance during what was a truly testing time for us! We're writing this to show our thanks to these LOCAL COMPANIES and so that hopefully you guys will give them lots more follows and make sure they're the people you turn to when you need the products and services they supply. No one here HAD to help us in anyway but ALL did because they're amazing human beings, and we think that needs shouting about!❤️
👍 Synergy Grill - You'll find these guys equipment in Five Guys and Nando's, they supplied and set up an absolutely incredible range topping griddle so your burgers can be cooked even faster than usual.
👍SC Electrical Contracting Ltd - the team came and completely replaced and overhauled the entire electrical system in the Hatch AND fielded a lot of questions from me after the installation because I know little to nothing about electrics!
👍Hedley & Ellis Ltd - this wonderful lot supplied all the brand new and upgraded electrical hardware for the SC team to install.
👍CK Direct Ltd - our internal walls are now covered in upgraded catering grade steel, thanks to these guys coming to measure and supply all the sheets.
👍Belfry Facade Systems Ltd - who came and measured and manufactured the aluminium rain deflector above the serving hatch and the new wind deflector to keep the elements at bay and make sure your food stays nice and hot.
👍Crafted Originals - the Fire Brigade had to destroy the original black metal hatch to put out the fire. These guys came to measure/produce and help install the new, upgraded hatch. As well as taking care of some small welding jobs on our container.
👍National Graphics - our constant go-to for signage. The brand new and updated cut out Higgsy's logo and the updated menu boards are all thanks to the expertise of these guys!
👍Nathan “Nyces” Murdoch - street artist - the team created the amazing designs you see today all over the Hatch. Making it a true one off location and so much more eye catching from the road. FUN FACT - lots of the tattoo designs are ones that we have on us, so the place probably couldn't be more genuinely us if we tried!
We also owe an incomprehensible debt of gratitude to every single person who so generously donated to the Go Fund Me page set up on our behalf....and Tommy Roberts who went out of his way to set up up the page on that morning 5 weeks ago when we were wondering what the next step could be.
Lastly. And by no means least, the THOUSANDS of you who took the time to write supportive comments, messages, stopped us in the street, stopped at the Hatch when we were working, dropped off flowers, bottles of wine and biscuits! You're genuinely all so bloody amazing, you all helped us through such a tricky time and we won't forget how much it meant to us 🫶🫶
