Happy Mother's Day! For this crafters showcase, I thought who better to choose than my crafty mum, Jo McIntosh!
My mum has always been an inspiration to me. After years working as a legal secretary and raising two children, she decided to go to university as a mature student to do a B.A(Hons) Creative arts, specializing in weaving, and Creative Studies in English.
She teaches craft workshops, usually in person, but during the covid lockdowns managed to adapt and taught online instead.
From her I've learned that you can do anything you put your mind to, to always be curious and playful, and that it's ok to stand out from the crowd.

Remember my talented friend Emma from my crafty showcase in January? She now has an online shop! Go check it out!

Finally I've got a web shop that's open!!!! It's been a few months in the making and I'd be super grateful if you would like to have a look at my first small batch of ceramics for sale within the UK - the fox mug pictured is part of it (link in bio). You could even give one a new home if you like! 🍄

I'm proud of this little batch of clay that I played with and drew on. There's also another bigger batch in the works to come in a month or two, so look out for batch number 2 then.
