🍅The quality on offer in Italian street markets is unparalleled.

🧀 Thursday market in Gressoney is no exception: it offers a bit of everything, often locally produced, always well selected and sold by vendors whose advice is for me so precious.

🥾From cheese and charcuterie, to sportswear and great street wear (check out !) from plants to hard to find haberdashery items, we make sure to stock up on everything we need from one year to another.

Breakfast under the olive tree and the infinite colour combinations of lake and sky.

That's the kind of inspiration I will bring back to the studio: textures, shade and light, pastels, and freer solutions for sitting, eating and entertaining.

🍋Everything is better with a touch of yellow. Even Summer homework.

🍋 At our friend’s home on Lake Garda, where family heirlooms, African textiles and bold colours play together for a style that’s so inspiring yet so difficult to emulate (even for colour enthusiasts and lovers of eclectic homes as we are!).

🫒The hill of Sant’Ilario near Genova is known for its stunning views of the sea and of the Portofino headland.

🫒Like most of the surrounding heights is covered in olive groves.

🫒 we are converting two small agricultural buildings into a summer retreat for a client in love with the place.

🫒Our intervention is minimal and aimed to make the most of the sea views and to enhance the relationship with the outside.

🫒 The works have just started, stay tuned for updates!

Is it worth it? 💰
Yes, if it makes your life better and the cost per use is negligible.

Our clients decided on a bespoke raw iron baby gate that costed £750 and matches the banister of the stairwell, knowing that a white plastic gate is £32.99 at John Lewis.

On the other hand, they were very happy when, we proposed to pair 2 wall lights sold on ebay for £35 with a £2 rice paper lantern bought on Portobello Road for baby’s nursery.

Mixing high and low is one of our skills!

Not a real photo-shooting yet and with a few bits still missing - bedside tables! mirror! - but, after a complete renovation and interior design projevt, here is a new home by Studio 29!

Beloved and enjoyed by a family of 3 in one of the prettiest corners of Notting Hill.

The William Morris wallpapered lobby replaces what was a narrow and dark corridor and acts the hearth of the flat.
The bedrooms, study, family bathroom and cloakroom all open on to it, as does the stair leading to the living space and terraces upstairs.
