As darkness fell yesterday evening the crescent Moon moved into position over the Needles casting its golden light onto the calm sea. The rest of the Moon's surface was lit by earthshine and a lone yacht was perfectly positioned to help the composition. After taking several images I made my way home feeling glad I had chosen to drive to this location where everything came together perfectly for me. Click image for full size🙂

A coffee shop in Kent has made a brave decision to go ‘cup free’ and only serve customers who bring their own one into the shop, and to illustrate why they are doing this they filled their shop floor with disposable cups - more than 9 out of 10 nationwide do not get recycled!

Otto's Coffee House & Kitchen in Sevenoaks are hopeful that their new policy will inspire other coffee shops to follow suit, maybe even across The Thames In Essex!
