ELICYON X LALIQUE

The Lalique Bar designed by Elicyon conceals a series of discoverable objects throughout the space, to be uncovered gradually through the experience.

Conceived as an immersive environment, the space unfolds through layers of materiality, atmosphere, and interaction, with every detail considered by Elicyon and Lalique to invite curiosity and reward closer observation.

An introduction to the collaborators behind The Lalique Bar by Elicyon for WOW!house 2026.

Iberian Lighting:

Crafted with a sculptural sensibility, the custom Elicyon totem pendant light incorporates a selection of silk lampshades and a Coutard crystal cylinder, bringing softness and clarity to the space.

As , Founder and Director of Elicyon, reflects, the “beautiful, custom lampshades frame the Lalique crystal piece,” creating a dialogue between decorative detail and architectural form.

A tailored canopy, designed as a ceiling rose and finished in James Hare silk, completes the composition.

James Wellesley:

Specialising in high-end joinery, their work brings clarity, precision, and architectural rigour to each element.

They are responsible for the bar and surrounding joinery panelling with integrated niches and panelling, forming a defining architectural framework for the space. As Gandhi, Founder and Director of Elicyon, reflects, “there is a shared focus on longevity and quality,” with every detail carefully considered and executed to create a space that invites visitors to spend time and discover its quieter moments.

Working at the intersection of design and technique, their rugs are conceived as spatial compositions, defined by texture, materiality, and a strong visual identity.
A customised Sicile Laiton design, woven from bamboo silk, jute, and wool, forms a key layer within the scheme.

Etons Bespoke:

Combining traditional craftsmanship with advanced manufacturing, their work is defined by precision, material understanding, and a refined approach to problem solving.

They bring the bar’s banquette seating, stools, and upholstery to life, contributing to the comfort and character of the space. As Gandhi, Founder and Director of Elicyon, reflects, the pieces create “a very interesting juxtaposition […] where it is very architectural and very strongly framed, and you have these little decorative moments of delight.”

‘Audacious, surprising and bold’.

Appointed by Lalique, Elicyon reimagines the bar room for WOW!house 2026.

A first look into the process behind the collaboration, where light, reflection, and craftsmanship come together to shape a layered and immersive experience.

Rooted in a dialogue between past and present, the space draws on Lalique’s storied heritage and translates it into a contemporary setting for entertaining. As Charu Gandhi, Founder and Director of Elicyon, reflects, “There was such clarity to the brand, rooted in craftsmanship, artistry, and a very poetic, beautiful use of material,” qualities that continue to inform the atmosphere and experience of the space.

From intimate corners within the home to richly layered hospitality settings, the bar is often where connection begins.

These spaces are shaped through atmosphere and flow, designed to hold both lively gatherings and quieter moments with equal ease. A balance of theatre and restraint, where materiality, light, and detail come together to define the experience of entertaining.

At WOW!house, we explore this language in collaboration with bringing a new bar concept to life.

Delighted to see our Mayfair Garden Escape project featured in Tatler Asia.

A residence shaped by craft, connection and layered materiality, where bespoke detailing and natural textures come together to create a warm, deeply personal London home.

As Charu Gandhi shares, the brief called for a home that feels instinctively familiar yet elevated, a space that supports the rhythms of everyday family life while adapting effortlessly between intimate stays and larger-scale entertaining.

Elicyon transformed the apartment’s refined architectural base into a richly layered environment, introducing bespoke joinery, sculptural lighting and a palette of natural materials to bring warmth, character and cohesion throughout. The result is a home that flows seamlessly, each space connected yet distinct in character.
