And

B - It’s completely acceptable to get your kids to tidy away all their toys so you can make it look like you live in a tidy, toy free house (literally couldn’t be any further from the truth)

We gave this fireplace a revamp when we did the kitchen diner / family room back in 2019, these tiles were the inspiration for our monochrome colour scheme and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out 🤍🖤

A nod to my Grandad Pete 🖤

We loved the fire insert in this room but the modern additions just didn’t feel right, it was impossible to find old antique pieces to replace them. Thankfully, an old friend of my grandad said he would make us one for free if we found him the materials, since I’m ‘walshies granddaughter’.

I couldn’t imagine a better fit for this room, it feels so sentimental and it’s by far my favourite thing we’ve done to the house. A little piece of new history to go alongside the first tiling job I’ve done of the house- well supervised and assisted by my dad! Feels like a real family treasure 🥰
