✨ MONDAY UPDATE — A WHOLE YEAR OF SPARKLE ✨

Petyo has been busy again… and this time his diamonds have turned into something that can be enjoyed all year long. ❤️

Introducing his 2027 Diamond Art Desk Calendar. 📅💎

From January right through to December, every month has its own sparkling diamond-art design, changing with the seasons and special occasions throughout the year.

It has taken time, patience and lots and lots of tiny diamonds — but Petyo has really enjoyed working on something a little different. ❤️

These calendars will be available MAKE TO ORDER ONLY, so please order well in advance if you would like one.

Because each one is individually made, designs may vary from the calendar shown — which also means every one will have its own little character. ✨

They would make a beautiful Christmas gift, a New Year gift, or simply something cheerful and sparkly to keep on your desk throughout 2027. 🎁

And, of course, this is part of Petyo’s Diamonds of Hope — our ongoing project to raise money towards the Vielight near-infrared photobiomodulation device we hope to purchase for him.

💎 Fund update

Previous total: £72.19
Added this week: £0.00
Current total: £72.19
Our goal: £4,000

The number hasn’t changed this week, but Petyo has certainly not stopped creating. ❤️

If you would like a 2027 calendar, please message me in advance so Petyo has plenty of time to make it.

Thank you to everyone who continues to follow his little project, share his work and encourage him. It means more than you realise. ❤️

🍂🕯️ SUNDAY AT GLOW & STITCH JOY… 🕯️🍂

No orders to pack today 🥲 so I thought I’d use the quiet Sunday to clean, tidy and finish some of the projects already waiting for me.

That was the plan anyway… 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Somehow the table is now covered in candles, autumn leaves, pumpkins, mushrooms, little characters, crochet, wicks, coffee… and even more new creations than I started with. 😂

This is the side of Glow & Stitch Joy you don’t normally see.

Not the carefully arranged finished photographs.

Not the pretty gift boxes.

Just my table, my coffee, my hands busy making things… and the wonderfully messy creative process behind it all. ❤️

There may be no orders going out today, but there is certainly no shortage of ideas coming in. 🍁🕯️🧶

And apparently I am much better at creating new things than finishing my to-do list. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Happy Sunday from my little corner of creative chaos. ❤️

💎✨ PETYO’S DIAMONDS OF HOPE — MONDAY UPDATE ✨💎Something a little different from Petyo this week… 🎄✨For the past few weeks, Petyo has been working on these beautiful diamond-art hanging decorations, and he has really been enjoying making them. They’re different from his cards, but every bit as beautiful — colourful, sparkling and made patiently, diamond by diamond. 💎They can be hung on doors, walls or windows, adding a lovely bit of sparkle to the home, especially with Christmas coming. 🎄And I have to say… I think he has done a wonderful job. ❤️Every piece Petyo makes gives him something creative to concentrate on, while also helping us continue Petyo’s Diamonds of Hope — our journey towards raising £4,000 for his Vielight Neuro photobiomodulation helmet.✨ THIS WEEK’S FUND UPDATE ✨Monica’s order — 20% towards Petyo’s fund — £23.00💎 Previous total: £49.19💎 New total: £72.19🎯 Goal: £4,000A huge thank you to Monica and to everyone who has bought, shared, commented or simply followed Petyo’s little journey. 🌈 Well… I did say I always have another slightly crazy idea! 😂
‎
Between work, orders, pouring candles, filling moulds and ordinary life, I do occasionally try to REST.
‎
Apparently, my version of resting involves a crochet hook. 🤦🏻‍♀️🧶
‎
And somehow, during those little stolen moments, this happened… 🌈❤️
‎
My new handmade rainbow crochet bag — bright, cheerful and very difficult to be miserable around. 😂
‎
Every stitch was made by hand, a few rows here, a few rows there, whenever I managed to sit down between everything else.
‎
And actually, it feels rather appropriate after introducing Glow & Stitch Joy.
‎
Yesterday I showed you how my two creative worlds came together.
‎
Today, here’s a little bit of the STITCH. 🧶✨
‎
What do you think — should this one stay a one-off, or do we need more colours? 👀🌈

🧶✨ The Nifty Needles has a new connection…

If you’ve followed me here for my crochet and needle crafts, you may have started noticing another name appearing lately — Glow & Stitch Joy.

Don’t worry. The Nifty Needles isn’t disappearing! ❤️

For years I’ve had two creative sides: my yarn and needle crafts here, and my candles and wax creations through IskraRay. 🕯️

When I created my Etsy shop, I wanted somewhere they could finally live together.

Glow for my candles.
Stitch for everything created with yarn and needle.
Joy for the reason I make them.

And that’s Glow & Stitch Joy.

So when you see that name on my new packaging or creations, it isn’t a strange new business.

It’s us. 🥰

The Nifty Needles + IskraRay = Glow & Stitch Joy

Two creative worlds. One handmade home. ❤️

🍂 HELLO SEPTEMBER! 🕯️❤️

•

Back to work for me this morning, while my craft table is already waiting for me at home. 😂

•

There’s plenty happening behind the scenes at Glow & Stitch Joy — orders, a candle bouquet in progress and, as always, far too many new ideas in my head! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

•

September will bring a little bit of everything — candles, gifts, baby pieces, bouquets and hopefully a few surprises. ❤️

•

What would YOU like to see from me this month? 👀

💎❤️ PETYO’S DIAMONDS OF HOPE — OUR JOURNEY BEGINS TODAY ❤️💎

Today I am sharing something very personal and very close to my heart.

For those who know Petyo, you know that life has changed enormously for him. But there is still something he enjoys — creating his beautiful diamond-art cards.

He sits and carefully places each tiny diamond, one by one.

And I started thinking…

What if something Petyo enjoys could also help us do something for Petyo?

So today, Petyo’s Diamonds of Hope begins. 💎❤️

🎯 OUR GOAL: £4,000

We are hoping to raise £4,000 towards a Vielight Neuro Duo 4, a near-infrared photobiomodulation device designed to deliver light to the head and, through a nasal applicator, to frontal areas of the brain.

Photobiomodulation is an area of ongoing research, including research looking at whether near-infrared light may support brain function and cellular health. It is not a cure for dementia, and we cannot promise that it will help Petyo.

But we want to explore this option with appropriate medical guidance and give Petyo every reasonable opportunity we can.

💎 HOW WE ARE RAISING THE FUND

Petyo’s Diamond-Art Cards

Petyo’s handmade cards will be available from £4 each, with FREE UK delivery.

There are designs for birthdays, thank yous, weddings, new babies, Christmas, teachers, special occasions and more.

Every card sold will contribute towards our £4,000 goal.

🕯️ GlowAndStitchJoy Candles and IskraRay

I will also donate 20% of my candle sales to Petyo’s fund.

So you can support Petyo by buying one of his cards, choosing something from my candle shop, or simply sharing our story.

And that last one costs nothing. ❤️

❤️ WHY THIS MEANS SO MUCH

These cards aren’t just handmade products.

They are made by Petyo.

Every little diamond represents time, patience and something he is still able to create with his own hands.

We don’t know where this journey will take us.

But we do know that we want to keep trying.

Our goal is £4,000.
Our project is ongoing.
And every single little contribution brings us closer.

£4+ for a card.
20% from a candle.
A purchase.
A share.
A kind message.

It all matters.

💎 Made by Petyo.
Bought with love.
Helping us hold on to hope. ❤️

If you would like to support Petyo, please message me to see the cards available.

And if you can’t buy anything, please share this post. You never know who might see it.

Thank you for helping us begin this journey. ❤️

£0 → £4,000

Let’s see how far we can take it together. 💎❤️

My beautiful Mum turned 80 💜🌸She has always loved orchids — so graceful, so elegant. But she could never have one… Winters are far too cold here, and her home simply doesn’t get enough light. Real orchids just wouldn’t thrive. So for her birthday, I crafted something special — a hand-crocheted orchid that stays in bloom forever. No watering, no sunlight, no worrying about the cold — just everlasting beauty 💜And if you feel the same? If you adore orchids but simply can’t grow them — wherever you are, whatever the season — send me a message!Tell me your favourite colours, your dream style… and I’ll create your perfect orchid — one that will bloom beautifully, always 💜
