We are pleased to share that Cordia UK’s Nightingale project on Great Hampton Row in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, designed by Dyer, has recently received planning permission.
The scheme sensitively combines the restoration of the historic Nightingale Textile Factory with new, sustainably designed residential buildings, supporting the long-term regeneration of this significant heritage area while respecting its industrial character.
A key element of the project is The Nightingale Warehouse (Mott Street / Great Hampton Row). This historic Jewellery Quarter building was originally home to JG Beddoes, a lock manufacturer, from 1915, before later operating as a cardboard box factory until the early 1980s. It was subsequently converted into a warehouse and became the former site of Nightingale Knitwear. As part of Cordia UK’s wider regeneration plans, the development adopts a sensitive façade-retention approach alongside carefully crafted new-build elements. The historic frontage will be restored, while new BTR residential apartments, amenity and commercial space are delivered. The scheme will play an active role in the regeneration of the Jewellery Quarter’s important heritage area, supporting its continued evolution and long-term vitality.

We are proud to share that Dyer's residential project on Naphegy Street has been shortlisted for the Budapest Architectural Excellence Award.
The best projects were presented by the Mayor of Budapest and the Chief Architect, highlighting outstanding urban and architectural quality. During the evening, not only the award-winning works but the entire selection of high-calibre projects were exhibited at FUGA.
Congratulations to all nominees and award recipients — it is inspiring to see such a strong creative community shaping the architectural future of Budapest. 👏

A shortlistre került projekteket Budapest főpolgármestere és főépítésze mutatta be, kiemelve a városépítészeti minőséget és a kortárs szemléletet. Az ünnepi est során a díjazott munkák mellett a jelölt mezőny magas színvonalú tervei is kiállításra kerültek a Fugában.

The Naphegy12 project designed by is situated in the historic core of Buda, seamlessly integrating into its urban fabric through the sophisticated articulation of its layered façade. The architectural language is defined by refined detailing and a minimalist yet contextually responsive design approach, which earned the prestigious Residential Development of the Year award at the Hungarian Real Estate Awards.

The construction of Marina City, a new urban district in Budapest, is well underway, promising to be a unique development in Europe. Designed by architects of Dyer, the three residential towers are classified as high-rise buildings under local zoning regulations. A key urban planning feature is the subterranean integration of vehicular circulation, which relocates the street below ground level, thereby preserving approximately 7 hectares of uninterrupted, pedestrian-friendly public space along the Danube. The master plan incorporates a range of pioneering architectural and urban design solutions, which will be unveiled in subsequent phases of the project.
