This week marked the London launch of the Marcel Collection, our collaboration with , during and FOCUS/26.⁠

It was a brilliant to see the collection brought together in a celebration at the Showroom, alongside a conversation on ‘The Power of Creative Collaboration’ with of , Pablo Rimoldi from our Architecture team and Hannah Burch from .⁠

Marcel has been such a rewarding collection to develop, drawing on the clarity and discipline of the Bauhaus while allowing for a more refined and contemporary expression. The subtle offsets, clean lines and considered proportions are complemented by the exceptional craftsmanship of THG.

It was wonderful to take the opportunity to share the process behind the collection - from the initial ideas and sketches through to the making of each piece - and the conversations that shaped it along the way.⁠

A brilliant day was had yesterday as we hosted a Private Simulated Clay Shoot Day in Berkshire Englefield Estate.

We were joined by a number of esteemed peers in the industry, and instructed by the legends James Purdey & Sons as we journeyed across the grounds for multiple drives, in the finest wheels from H.R. Owen.

An incredible ‘Elevenses’ spread was served by Cai from Cai Ap Bryn, as well as a beautiful champagne reception and late lunch back at the House.

Thank you to all who joined us, and thank you to all below who helped us to make the day one to remember!

A pair of ‘Chatsworth’ Curve Consoles I designed in collaboration with Somerset-based furniture maker , frame the fireplace in the ground floor family room of our Holland Park Townhouse.

This collection was the first furniture range I launched and was inspired by clouds drifting over the mountains of Central Italy during the initial marble-sourcing trip for the collaboration. I wanted to capture their soft, dynamic presence in furniture, which the team at Adam Williams then brought to life.

Layered lighting with a pendant from and table lamps from bring warmth, while the Clients’ own photography, collected during their travels was the inspiration and foundation for the cosy room. All bought together with final some soft touches from .

It’s set to be a particularly exciting week at Katharine Pooley as London Design Week gets underway, bringing with it a wonderful programme of events and creative conversations across the city including DCCH's FOCUS/26.

On Tuesday I am delighted to be joining of , Pablo Rimoldi one of our in-house Architects and the Hannah Burch from the THG team, for a conversation on ‘The Power of Creative Collaboration.' Head to the Showroom for 4pm where we will discuss the process and relationships behind the 'Marcel Collection.'

Collaboration has always been such an important part of the creative process, and I’m looking forward to sharing thoughts on how bringing different perspectives, disciplines and ideas together can lead to something truly special. I hope to see some of you there!

In Olea Villa, the clients wish was to have the bedrooms anchored in a common theme but with distinct differences and palette's in each. We went with a fresh and fun mix of oranges for this space, a homage to the beautiful sunsets found across the Med.

Handcrafted, solid wood bedside tables sit under a pair of rounded rattan ceiling lights, while duck feather down cushions are enveloped in hand embroidered terracotta striped fabric by .
