Hey 👋🏻 listen. Etsy take way too much money out of the sales I make. You now have to have some kinda health and safety info on everything you sell to EU/NI. Royal Mail postage is so high and the post office doesn’t let you use the self service machines for international postage, meaning I spend my whole lunch break in a queue to post one parcel.
I also haven’t sold any original pieces in a while, nearly all my sales are the same 3 made to order pieces. I love doing embroidery and I love that people want to own the art that I create BUT I’m getting a bit sick of it all right now.
This isn’t the end, just a wee extra break. I’m putting the shop on hiatus for a bit until I figure out some new ideas and fall back in love properly with this hobby.
