Hospitality — Portable Rechargeable Lighting

Some of the most effective hospitality lighting requires no wiring at all.

Portable rechargeable lamps can bring soft pools of light to hotel terraces, outdoor restaurants and lounge areas while allowing the layout to change throughout the evening.

They can illuminate dining tables without overwhelming them, bring warmth to outdoor seating areas, and help define pathways, entrances and transitional spaces after dark.

For hotels and restaurants, their flexibility is particularly valuable. Furniture can move, tables can be rearranged and different areas can be brought into use without redesigning the electrical layout.

Small objects, but an important part of creating atmosphere.

Viva Lagoon supplies designer lighting and outdoor furniture for hospitality projects.

Lava stone is a beautiful and practical material for outdoor dining tables.

Formed from volcanic rock, it can be glazed and finished to create durable table tops with colour, depth and character. Brands such as Talenti use lava stone for refined outdoor dining, while Domiziani brings a more artistic and decorative approach.

For hotels, spas and serviced residences, furniture needs to feel comfortable and considered, but it also has to cope with regular use, changing weather and daily maintenance.

Daybeds, lounge chairs, outdoor sofas, dining tables, parasols and lighting all help shape the guest experience.

At Viva Lagoon, we work with outdoor furniture brands suited to private gardens as well as hospitality projects, from poolside terraces to boutique hotel gardens and wellness spaces.

For hospitality enquiries, our team can help with product selection, finishes, samples and delivery planning.

Outdoor daybed or sun lounger?

A sun lounger is usually the practical choice for reclining, reading and relaxing beside a pool or on a terrace. It works well when you need individual seating and flexibility.

An outdoor daybed creates a more generous relaxation space. It feels softer, more architectural and more like a destination within the garden.

For private gardens, a daybed can become a quiet retreat. For hotels and spas, it can help create a more luxurious guest experience.

The right choice depends on the space, the level of comfort you want, and how the area will be used.

A sun lounger is ideal for individual relaxation, while an outdoor daybed creates a more generous and luxurious place to rest.

For gardens, poolside spaces, hotels and spas, the right choice depends on how the space will be used and how much presence you want the furniture to have.

Brand spotlight: Domiziani.

Domiziani is an Italian furniture brand known for ceramic and lava stone tables with colour, texture and a distinctive handmade character.

Each table feels individual, making Domiziani especially suited to terraces, gardens and outdoor dining spaces where the table is intended to become the centre of the setting.

The surfaces are practical for outdoor use, but decorative enough to bring personality and craftsmanship into the space.

For clients looking for Italian garden furniture with a more expressive feel, Domiziani offers something beautifully different.
