Getting ahead of the renovation, one piece at a time. This barley-twist sideboard had good bones hiding under years of dark stain so before the real work begins, we stripped it right back to the oak, gave it a fresh off-white finish, and topped it with marble for a bit of drama. Proof that the best pieces are sometimes already in the room. ✨

Still one of our favourite low-budget transformations; proof you don’t need a huge budget to change a space. DM us if you’re thinking about your own. ✨

Every project starts somewhere. Sometimes it’s the building. Its age, its bones, the history it deserves to keep.

This one started with a name. La’arte. The art.

The backbone of the design was the idea of the gallery itself, a space to hold and show art the way a gallery would. So everything was sourced to support that: the stone, the murals, all of it chosen to reflect the name and bring that gallery feeling to life.

It all starts with a vision. From the first SketchUp model to the final 3D renders, every detail is designed to help clients experience the space before construction even begins. Bringing that digital vision to life and seeing the finished result is always the best part of the job. ✨

Doorways are a little obsession of mine and Barcelona did nothing to help with that. Every street had one that stopped me.

A doorway is never just an entrance. It’s the first sentence of the story inside. And so often it’s the last thing people think about.

The ideal? Choose it well from the very beginning; get it right before anything else follows. But if that moment has passed, or it was never yours to decide, then dress it well. The right colour, the right hardware, a considered frame. There is almost always something that can be done.

Either way; it sets the tone for everything that comes after.

What does yours say about what’s inside?✨

Low budget doesn’t mean low impact. ✨

This living room transformation was all about proving that you don’t need a huge spend to completely elevate a space.

We kept the client’s own beautiful silk rugs (fun fact: pure silk shifts shade depending on the angle you view it from; stunning in person, an absolute nightmare to photograph!) and built the whole scheme around them. Floor lamps, table lamps, that gorgeous pendant. Every light source was chosen to work together, not just to switch on and off.

The result? Same bones, same budget-friendly pieces, completely different feeling room.

Lighting layering is one of the most underrated tools in interior design; swipe through to see the before and after. ✨

When space is limited, every decision counts. This was an Airbnb property where every square metre had to work hard for guests. We created a sleeping area for a child, a fully fitted en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette, all within a very compact footprint. The staircase, joinery and lighting were all designed to make the space feel considered and generous rather than small and compromised. ✨

Small bathrooms don’t have to feel small. This en-suite for an Airbnb project is compact but every decision from the tile scale, the brass fittings, the niche lighting, the backlit mirror, was made with both function and feel in mind. The right choices in a small space make all the difference. ✨

The coffee table and media unit in this project are both bespoke designs, made specifically for this room.
Sometimes the right piece simply doesn’t exist, so we design it ourselves. ✨
