Hybrid Identity Is Sexy' is about the cultural theory of hybrid identity - constantly overlapping, merging, nostalgic, dynamic, reflective, with symbolic colours of the national flag.
The material would be an abstract resin or plexiglass coated to give it a shiny colour changing reflections.

Hybridní identita je sexy" je o kulturní teorii hybridní identite- neustále se překrývající, prolínající, nostalgické, dynamické, reflexivní, se symbolickými barvami státní vlajky.
Materiálem by byla pryskyřice nebo plexisklo s povrchovou úpravou, která by mu dodala lesklé barvy měnící odlesky.

Hello, I created the page 'The map of immigrants emotions' to explore the identity of people as foreigners, and to explore the identity of nations, especially in contrast to the west and the east, communism vs democracy. I am interested in how people in the west live today, identity formation in migrants, and how they perceive their native country in hindsight. How much of a 'post-communist mentality' is still evident in the Czech Republic? What are the differences, how is the Czech Republic catching up with the West, what do they see as a plus, what a minus... I will gradually put the results of interviews with foreigners from different Western countries on the page and I will be very glad if you write something about it, whether from the position of a migrant, expat or traveler, or someone who is interested in how life is elsewhere. Feedback or even constructive crtique will help me to further develop the project.

This sculpture 'Transcendence in Flux' could be stretched fabric or thin metal sprayed or thick metal painted with patina, reflecting light from different angles as you walk around it. It is based on the concept of cultural hybridity, where the identity of the migrant is fluid, intertwining, dynamic, constantly changing, like a dance.
It highlights the contrast between sadness, emptiness, grief, melancholy and the joy and resilience of the human spirit.

Tato socha "Transcendence in Flux" by mohla být napnutá látka nebo tenký kov nastříkaný sprejem či tlustý kov natřený patinou, který při chůzi kolem sebe odráží světlo z různých úhlů. Vychází z konceptu kulturní hybridity, kdy je identita migranta tekutá, prolínající se, dynamická, neustále se měnící, jako tanec.
Zdůrazňuje kontrast mezi smutkem, prázdnotou, žalem, melancholií a radostí a odolností lidského ducha.

Elsewhere Nest' is my first attempt at designing a flat sculpture in acrylic-painted plywood or Perspex. I was inspired by Matisse and Picasso.
The metaphor behind it is a bird that does not belong to the place where it lives, so it looks for its nest elsewhere.
Based on theories of identity formation among immigrants, such as The Otherness, referring to integration, nostalgia, identity crisis, emptiness, loneliness, conflicting values.

"Hnízdo jinde" je můj první pokus o vytvoření ploché sochy z akrylem natřené překližky nebo perspexu. Inspirovali mě Matisse a Picasso.
Metaforou, která za ní stojí, je pták, který nepatří na místo, kde žije, a proto hledá své hnízdo jinde.
Vychází z teorií utváření identity přistěhovalců, jako je Jinakost, a odkazuje na integraci, nostalgii, krizi identity, prázdnotu, osamělost, rozporuplné hodnoty.

Zdravim, stranku 'The map of immigrants emotions' jsem vytvorila za ucelem zkoumani identity cloveka jako cizince, a zkoumani identity narodu, zejmena v kontrastu zapad a vychod, komunismus vs demokracie. Zajima me jak se zije lidem na zapade v dnesni dobe, a jak s odstupem casu vnimaji svoji rodnou zem. Jak moc je stale 'postkomunisticka mentalita' evidentni v cesku? Jake tam jsou rozdily, jak Cesko dohani zapad, co vidi jako plus, co minus... vysledky rozhovoru s cizinci z ruznych zapadnich zemi budu postupne vkladat na stranku a budu velice rada, kdyz mi k tomu neco napisete, at uz z pozice migranta, expata nebo cestovatele, nebo cecha co ho zajima jak se zije jinde. Feedback mi pomuze k dalsimu rozvoji projektu i po skonceni studia.
