Producing lead ornaments of unrivalled quality. All of our ornaments are detailed and finished by hand, using traditional craftsmanship with skills acquired and fine-tuned over four generations. Here at H.Crowther we work very closely on a one on one basis with our clientele and assist them to meet their requirements to create their vision. We strive to satisfy all our clients and offer advice as

well as guidance when desired. H.Crowther are world-renowned for our restoration work on historic lead figures. We have been requested, and travelled globally to repair figures in many different countries. We are able to transform figures from the brink of complete destruction to the beautiful form they once were, without compromising their integrity. We are able to offer the largest collection of period lead garden ornaments and contemporary water cisterns. Our statuary can be found in gardens across the world, from the largest of estates to the smallest of town gardens. We provide a vast choice to complement a diversity of settings. Clients are very welcome to come and visit our permanent display garden at our Studio in West London.

The original Vase was excavated from Hadrian's villa near Rome in 1770. Restored and transferred to Warwick Castle until 1977. Today the Vase, now known as the Warwick Vase, is in the Burrell collection in Glasgow.
We were very pleased to be asked to produce ten new copies for an important garden that is in the process of under going its own restoration.

"There can scarcely be a doubt that the happiest material for our garden sculpture and ornament is lead" These are the words Gertrude Jekyll used when taking a delivery of Lead ornaments from our founder Mr H Crowther.
Below is one of our favourite gardens, and it is a perfect example of natural British Stone and Crowther Lead work, working together.
