A little update for fellow William Morris lovers, especially fans of the Strawberry Thief pattern

The coasters have just returned to the shop, although for now they’re available only in burgundy. Navy and aqua will be coming back soon too.
I’m considering removing the coaster section from my shop altogether, so these will most likely be the last batches I make. Once they’re gone, they may be gone for good.

- they make a lovely little back-to-school gift

I’ve been making these for quite a few years now, but it’s finally time to say goodbye to this pattern. They’ll be available until the end of this year, and then they’ll disappear from my Etsy shop for good.
They work for children and teachers… basically anyone who needs to remember where they stopped reading 😄

Let's start with name bookmarks 🙂

I sent these four to Arsnberg in Germany. The lady who ordered them first bought name bookmarks from me in 2020. Six years later, she came back for a new set with different names.

And she isn’t the only customer who has done this. That’s what makes me so happy. When another birthday, Christmas or special occasion comes along and they need a gift for another young reader, some customers remember my little shop and come back to me, even after years ☺️

I’ve had these bookmarks in my Etsy shop since November 2019, maybe I should make "Name bookmark" giveaway this November ? 🤔☺️

Let's start with the green ones today, and I'll slowly bring back the others too.
I know I said I would do this ages ago. Along with about a hundred other things I've probably told you I was going to do. 😅
The thing is, I have my plans... and my ADHD brain seems to have completely different ones. 😂
I decide what I'm going to do, and then my brain goes: nope, we're doing THIS now!
I'm still trying to figure out how to work with it, because sometimes it's really frustrating when I have so many things I want to do and just can't seem to follow my own plans.
But... slowly. One thing at a time. I'll get there. 😊

Well... that wasn't on my to-do list 😄

Yesterday didn't start well.
Some days feel heavier than others, and yesterday was one of those days.
Then, out of nowhere, I was given a mission. 😄
- repairing leather steering wheel

I have repaired leather shoes and car seats, I brought a pair of very old (very vintage 😅) leather trousers back to life, but this was something new for me.
I looked at the original stitching, figured out how it worked, picked up two needles and... DONE !

I actually love challenges like this.

Then my friend asked if I could bake a cake, so I did that too 😁

By the evening, the rough morning had become nothing more than a distant memory, I'm grateful that yesterday gave me something useful to focus on.

Sometimes the best part of the day is the part you didn't plan.

The alien bookmarks have officially arrived in my Etsy shop!

Everyone knows about Area 51 and Roswell in the USA... but did you know the UK has its own UFO places too?
Bonnybridge in Scotland and Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk are both famous for UFO sightings.
And now few little visitors have landed in my studio in London too. 🛸

So if you love aliens, UFOs, extraterrestrial mysteries, sci-fi, or just enjoy quirky bookish accessories, these might be your next favourite bookmark.

They're finally in my shop. 🧡💚

These fabric card holders are inspired by the iconic carpet patterns from Stanley Kubrick's horror movie "The Shining", based on Stephen King's novel.

They come in two designs:

🟧 Hexagon – inspired by the iconic Overlook Hotel carpet.
🟩 Keyhole – inspired by room 237 carpet design.

I like that everyone can use them differently. Some will keep a library card or Oyster card inside, others will tuck in a gift card and make them part of a present.

I wonder... have you seen "The Shining" or read Stephen King's novel?
