Dimonah & Mehmet Iksel spent many years in India founding and running a studio which Hand Paints their own designs for Interior Decoration. Dimonah over saw most of the artistic creation and Mehmet's vision brought their collections into fusion with the 21st Cent. They invented a new art form which derives the highest resolution printing from thier own decorative painting.

Our "Japanese Cranes" Scenic Décor in a Dining Room in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a landscape developed from a 17th century Japanese folding screen.
We have extended the subject matter into a full scenic which is modern in effect and suitable for a large room.

This décor is inspired by traditional Chinese wallpaper. We have however given it patinas and textures that make it far more complex than the actual design, originating from Queen Victoria's bedroom at the Brighton Pavilion.

Our "Costermans Garden" chinoiserie in Powder Pink colorway, installed in a bedroom suite in London. Costermans Garden is an East India Company wallpaper painted circa 1800. We were kindly given permission to scan it by Costermans, the famous antique dealers of Brussels, who have it inserted in their splendid 18th century boiseries.

This design is in fact taken from an Abbasid wainscoting. We made it into an exotic tent which transforms a room into a chic camping fantasy.

Our "D-Dream" Scenic decor featured on Luxe Interiors + Design in a Dining Room in Atlanta, US.

This Decor is a figment of Dimonah Iksel's imagination. Most of these species would not be found in the same environment. It is an idealised landscape in which the improbable flirts with the impossible. The rich documentation comes from some of the great naturalists of the late Renaissance and 18th century.
