Set on the fifth floor of One Grosvenor Square, this three-bedroom apartment sits within one of London’s most distinguished addresses.

The scheme draws from its surrounding, the shifting canopy of Grosvenor Square and the layered history of the building itself, translated into an interior that feels both grounded and refined. Designed for a sophisticated couple working in fashion, the brief centred on the idea of home couture: a space shaped with the same precision, craft and individuality as a tailored garment.

Artworks and bespoke furniture were carefully curated to build a sense of depth and identity throughout the apartment. A calm, tonal base palette is lifted with warmer accents that echo the changing seasons, bringing softness and variation to the overall composition.

Contemporary in its expression yet enduring in its approach, the result is a home designed for ease, comfort and a lasting sense of balance.

A single material, considered in multiple ways.

Stone remains one of the most versatile and enduring materials in interior design, capable of moving seamlessly between architectural surfaces, functional elements and decorative details.

This approach explores how varying the application, scale and finish of a single material can create cohesion across a project, while still allowing each space to retain its own identity.

From flooring and wall treatments to bespoke joinery and smaller accessories, the intention is not to repeat, but to reinterpret, building depth, continuity and longevity into the design.

A project of real scale and one the Taylor Howes team are incredibly proud of.

Knightsbridge Gardens, the UK’s first super-prime rental development, brings together 33 apartments, each designed with its own identity. Our team created four distinct interior schemes: The Eclectic, The Tailored, The Crafted and The Modernist, each drawing inspiration from the elegance and detail of the Belle Époque.

Across every space, we layered in carefully sourced pieces from British makers and artisans, with green running quietly throughout, from deep teal to soft moss, tying each scheme together.

Original features were preserved and thoughtfully reinterpreted, while materials like stone chevron flooring, bronze lighting and black metalwork bring depth and richness to the finish

Primary suite spaces are where a home becomes most personal, quiet, restorative, and designed for the everyday.
