The company threefold was started in 2013 by Carla Bianchi. A qualified interior designer, Carla spent five years in the industry before deciding to pursue a career in her true love…paper and textiles. Spending six years living in the UK and Japan, Carla’s approach is influenced by the design styles she studied during her time abroad. Carla’s work is inspired by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, Dani

sh paper artist Peter Callesen and British sculptor and installation artist Antony Gormley. Firmly believing that the ‘devil is in the detail’, Carla’s design ethic focuses on simplicity and quality. With a design education in Australia, work experience in the UK and paper manipulation techniques learned Japan, the result is threefold…folded paper and textile creations for you.
