Bespoke bespoke bespoke.

The four poster bed made to our design, with the sofa scaled for the perfect fit. Extra wide bedside tables were designed to fill the space centrally beneath the alcoves whilst staying close to the bed.

Phone charging pads built in of course and those breakfasts in bed that some of us dream of have been catered for too with the pull out tray. 🥐☕️

One thing we always encourage our clients to do: wait until the installation is complete. ⏳

Even with approved sketches and carefully planned designs, a room in progress can feel surprisingly unsettling. Half-finished spaces rarely reflect the vision, and that’s often when doubt could creep in.

This is what I mean by trust. Trust the process. Trust the design. The transformation is always worth the wait. ✨

During the concept design stage we had established our clients love of primary colours. 🎨 Whilst we all agreed that overall the living space colours should be fresh and gentle we identified spaces and surfaces where fun could be had.

We invited Chica Seal to work with us to develop this mini mural, enjoyed equally from the dinner table and a dusk view from the garden. Outside must talk to the interior after all.

Inspiration was taken from Helen Frankenthaler’s magical use of colour. And on a recent stay to Eilean Shona Katie was delighted to see a similar appreciation. The dining room is designed for those occasional grown up dinners, easy garden access and important indoor tractor and go-cart circuits for energetic little people.

Kimi Zoet is another young artist who we have been supporting recently - the circular piece above the side board is called Mumma. ✨

A new rendition of our stair runner, inspired by colours from a Kente cloth. ✨

The glorious thing about this, our trademark pattern, is how completely different it looks as the colours and scale adapt to the space. Fabulous in contemporary or traditional settings, as a flat weave or a luxurious cut pile. More to come!😏

If you’d like one, contact PETER PAGE Page - but please appreciate the time it takes to bespoke the shapes and proportion to each staircase. It’s not the same exercise as buying a stripe.

Another big selling point: tempting kids upstairs to bathtime can be a challenge, but not when games can be played, like only step on green to stop the bears getting you! 🟩

The hallway is imposing but designed to be inviting. The green is a bespoke colour from Francesca's Paints Ltd , the walls and woodwork are in Little Greene Greene Portland Stone Pale 155, and the ceiling in Slaked Lime.

Particularly fond of the round cabochons, a soft twist on the more familiar square solution.

Sun and light from the south facing drawing room beyond filters into the drawing room, welcoming guests to this happy, busy home.🏡✨

We are thrilled to see our Belsize Park project featured in House & Garden Magazine 🏠

It is a pleasure to see a family so fully at home in their house, using every floor and every room as it was intended.

K&H Design is at its best with a blank canvas and the brief to extend significantly, redesign extensively and consider how adults and children alike will live, entertain, work and play in the same spaces.

This project ran over many months. A great deal happened at K&H in that time, though we were not as busy as our clients, who managed to hold down demanding careers and bring three babies into the world within the same timeframe.

Thank you, first, to our clients for their support and engagement throughout. And thank you to each designer on my team who had a hand in delivering this home. We pride ourselves on listening, sketching and allowing design time to rationalise properly, weaving in the preferences of each decision maker. We work closely together, with real energy, to shape and refine ideas as a team, so that what shows through, in the end, is the personality and wishes of the client.

Thank you to the professional team, InteriorLAB Ltd and Alex Tart Architects, for helping us deliver such a considered home for our client.

Finally a very special thanks to Fiona McKenzie Johnston for such a thoughtful feature. ✨

So grateful to for calling out our ‘meticulous approach …. Including the way a project is run”. Obviously beautiful design is what we get out of bed for, but it is everything that goes behind it which creates the overall success of our projects.

This much-loved bathroom is designed within its Grade II listed bones to be chic and luxurious, yet cool and playful. Such a fab mix of materials, a beautiful palette and curves curves, curves …

Symmetrical green powder coated crittal doors to WC and shower cubicles, the flooring is a bespoke hexagonal cut marble with Crema Evora border inset with Alba Chiara squares, there is a specialist glazed crackle finish to drawer fronts to add lustre …… please note the double marble bull nose around the mirrored recessed cabinets - single pieces, no joints, fabulous!

We always push for the best from our craftspeople! And they always deliver.

Thank you to my amazing team I love working with you all!

MBMC Studios , as always a pleasure to watch you bring our designs to fruition.

It is so exciting to be playing a part in the dynamic expansion of the interiors arm of Country & Town House , and to be recognised by such an exalted panel of judges.🏆✨

My thanks go especially to Jeremy Isaacs, and .

I share this recognition with my incredible team of ten and my completely wonderful clients.

As explained, excellent personal design is all about listening and taking time to develop bespoke schemes and bespoke FF&E pieces that meet our clients’ wishes, but it is also about being fastidious with everything that goes behind this. It is the strength of relationship with the professional team and our makers, it is about understanding budgeting and programming, respecting these and driving them with energy and transparency. This is what K&H Design is all about. ✨
