Positioning the study directly against full-height sheer drapery allows soft natural daylight to frame the workspace throughout the day.

Deep burgundy velvet and warm leather ground the scheme against light herringbone flooring. Beside the desk, wardrobe doors pair textured fabric panels with full-length recessed brass hardware.

At Hyde Park Gate, the focus shifts to the subtle mechanics of joinery and surface transition.

Recessed brass inlay breaks up the vertical grain of the timber doors, mirroring the precise shadow gaps around the integrated alcove cabinetry. Across the suite, materials are layered to absorb and reflect daylight differently, moving from the soft, natural finish of the stone coffee table to the metallic leaf detail catching light behind the headboard.

Can a delicate palette still command architectural presence?

In this private suite, soft pink hues and subtle textures are anchored by precise, symmetrical joinery. The space was meticulously refined to prioritise privacy, comfort, and layout balance, pairing a bespoke curved vanity desk with floral wardrobe doors.

Natural daylight catches the fine detail of the silk panels, while concealed lighting adds depth to the surrounding joinery.

Spotlight: Blue 💙

A unifying thread across different projects.

When used with intention, blue brings a quiet, architectural weight to a room. It grounds a space, giving surrounding neutral tones and refined metal details room to breathe.

A Grade II listed 1840s residence in Maida Vale, where early architectural integration ensures contemporary interventions respect the original heritage structure.

The private bar area centres on backlit stone shelving set against muted walls and a diagonal chequerboard floor. A curved bar counter with fluted metallic details and bespoke low-backed seating shapes the room for entertaining, using architectural lighting to bring clarity to each material.

Managing every stage from early architectural advisory through to final interior ex*****on ensures complete continuity across every phase.

The beauty of bespoke craftsmanship.

We worked alongside the exceptional team at to realise this bespoke credenza for our Dubai Villa project. The design is built around a study of contrasting materials, featuring a delicate, flowing branch motif in Cream Tanganika veneer that spans across the cabinet doors. This organic detailing is balanced by the clean lines of custom brass pulls and a dark, glossy marble top that introduces a rich depth and reflection to the piece.
It is a piece designed to be as much a work of art as it is a functional addition to the space.

We are constantly inspired by thoughtful design details, like the study inside Patchwork House by Decus.

True to its name, the home is a beautiful example of how distinct, highly textured materials can be stitched together to create a cohesive space. In this workspace, the timber wall panelling and matching shelving integrate beautifully into the architecture. It creates a warm backdrop that balances the heavy, sculptural shape of the wooden desk.

When designing one of the social spaces of this private residence project, we wanted to create a striking architectural anchor.

The show kitchen and dining area are designed to flow seamlessly as one, balancing the immense scale of the open-plan layout. We selected a highly dramatic, burgundy-veined marble for the sculptural islands, contrasting its cool weight with the warmth of patinated metallic cabinets and soft, textured plaster on the walls and ceiling. It is a space designed not just for cooking, but as a backdrop for entertaining.

We designed this dining room at the Hyde Park Gate Penthouse to bring together distinctive furniture and classic architectural details for a modern home.

At the center of the space is a custom-made marble dining table, pairing a gold-veined Calacatta marble top with a sculptural, wavy gold-leaf table base. To maximize storage and display space, the background features custom wall joinery with recessed metal alcoves and floating oak shelves that showcase curated art. Warm, light-reflective plaster walls help bounce natural light throughout the room, accented by the rich textures of the timber and metalwork.

A quiet sanctuary in Maida Vale.

We wanted to create a bathroom that feels like an escape from the city. The design balances the soft, tactile quality of plaster walls with the bold, fluid veining of hand-selected marble. By keeping the surrounding palette intentionally minimal, the natural patterns of the stone are allowed to become the central focus of the space.
