Grand Opening June 6th!

Step inside our latest project: Chilli Padi in Stratford’s Olympic Park. Right on the riverfront, this stunning location is the perfect new destination for authentic Malaysian cuisine and summer waterside dining.

To bring this space to life, our design approach focused on pairing an industrial structure with artisanal warmth.

By contrasting a deep, moody palette with rich timber paneling, intricately carved fretwork, and vibrant floating kite installations, we created an environment that feels detailed, tactile, and serene.

Transforming Sasa Sushi meant reimagining a 2,700 sq ft Grade II listed landmark, without compromising its history.

Working closely with the heritage team, we preserved key original features like the cast-iron fireplace, while carefully concealing elements that conflicted with the minimalist Japanese aesthetic. Every decision balanced conservation with contemporary design. Every detail was considered, from lighting to materials, ensuring the space felt both authentic and inviting.

The result: a space that honours the building’s past while creating a refined, modern dining experience.

Layer 02 Design delivered Saikou in Camden in just 3 months, from concept to opening.

When deadlines are tight, speed isn’t just impressive, it’s essential.
Rapid completion allowed the restaurant to open on schedule, start generating revenue, and capitalize on buzz without compromise.

Led by former Hakkasan Mayfair chef, the space blends urban sophistication with warm, inviting textures, designed for both style and operational excellence. Every detail was carefully executed thanks to decisive design, expert coordination and on-site management.

In a protected Mayfair conservation site, where timelines are usually slow and cautious, we delivered a full high-spec fit-out in just 42 days.

Through pre-programmed construction and bespoke off-site joinery, we redefined the space, even reclaiming height by removing the existing false ceiling to elevate the bar experience.

The impact was immediate:ďż˝
A Michelin Star awarded in record time and retained for three consecutive years (2024–2026).�

Planning Approval Secured in a Conservation Area 🏛️

Achieving planning approval for INÉ, Hampstead was a testament to balancing innovation with heritage. Located within a conservation area, our design process prioritised meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every element complemented the historic surroundings while delivering a contemporary, functional space.

From the façade design to the interior layout, we worked closely with the council planning officers to honour the character of the neighbourhood while bringing INÉ’s vision to life.
