Something green for St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ Turns out our little leprechaun claimed the velvet chair long before we even thought about decorating 🐾

With the Christmas tree gone it’s a great time to have a little restyle to make your home look refreshed. On this project our client wanted to refresh a couple of rooms since the children are grown up. By simply introducing new cushions, lighting and rearranging artwork we created a fresh new look without a full renovation. I’m currently restyling my shelves at home to create more interest and keeping warm while it’s so cold outside.
How gorgeous is my client’s dog, he hung out with us all day while we were shooting. He definitely has star quality!

Thinking about the new year and possibilities? I’m super excited about what we might achieve in 2026. I’m kicking off the year in the Paris trade show and then the winter retreat and I can’t wait.

Happy I am so grateful that I get to work with such lovely clients. It makes me so happy that I have designed a business around my children and that I get to be creative and help build homes and workplaces that make people happy. Not everyday is easy, there are always challenges but I’m so fortunate that over the years I have built a community of wonderful supportive contractors specialists and suppliers that I enjoy working with. What makes you happy?

It all started with this kitchen. Our lovely client had selected the finishes for this stunning kitchen when we first met them. we then worked with them to design the rest of the house threading these textures and tones throughout, travelling to Paris to source lighting. Designing bespoke furniture, wall treatments and soft furnishings, it was a dream collaboration as our clients had strong views and we know just how to help craft the dream home.

We are almost at the end of half term with the kids. I usually like to have a spring clean in the kids room but I never got around to it this time. I really enjoy designing a kids rooms, here are a few of my favourite rooms. I love the butterflies in this teenage girls room. The client had purchased them years before and we had fun styling them to flutter out the window.
The boys rooms work hard with bespoke storage hiding a desk to make use of every last inch of space.

I just love this kitchen from our Wimbledon village project. It’s the perfect spot for sitting with a cuppa on the weekend resetting after a busy week, the days are getting brighter and I’m thinking about getting out in the garden this weekend to have a tidy up. What are your plans?

Last month I visited the affordable fair with a client and this week I visited the the is still on until this Sunday and I totally recommend a visit.
The lovely thing about this art fair is you get to meet the artists in their studio, it’s real, you can smell the paint and you get to see their personality and understand why they do what they do. Some designers start designing their interiors around their clients art, which I do it they already own pieces, pulling out colours that bring the interior to life. but most of the time my clients collect art once the builders have left and they are ready to complete their spaces.
I really love seeing what my clients are drawn to. I love helping with this. Considering the best wall and size, the matterials and colours in the room, what we want the space to feel like. But mostly buying art is so personal, you really need to connect with the piece rather than it blend in with the interior.
Here is a selection of pieces I have helped with purchasing over the years. All very different and meaningful to each lovely client. Some we bought through art gallery, Wimbledon art show or art consultants.

One piece of advice is. Not to rush it, enjoy the process and really love what you choose no matter the price

The weekend is here and I will mostly be swooped over my summer wardrobe with my winter one. Do you change your wardrobe seasonly? I would love to have my clients dressing room. We designed it so the doors could fold back fully making the space feel larger. The doors are clad in wallpaper to tie onto the bedroom and the gorgeous handles are from the daddy of handles. I could hang out here all day.
