I thought I’d round off the week with this view of the room, which I think brings together so many of the details I love about this scheme.

There’s a lot going on with the wallpaper, so I wanted the other elements to work with it rather than compete with it. The curves of the chest of drawers are one of my favourite details — they soften the room and echo the shape of the arched mirror of the dressing room beautifully. I love using curves; they bring a lovely sense of movement and make the furniture feel a little more special.

The curtains were deliberately kept much simpler. With such a strong, heavily patterned wallpaper, I felt the fabric needed to have a quieter presence. The weight of the woolen fabric gives them a lovely sense of luxury, without introducing another pattern into the mix.

And then there are all those little layers — the marble, the warm wood, the aged brass, the velvet and, of course, the colour coming through from the bed.

For me, it’s always about finding that balance. You can be bold with colour and pattern, but there still needs to be somewhere for the eye to rest. It’s those contrasts that make a room feel comfortable, considered and, ultimately, like a home.

I’ve always loved interiors that have a bit of personality, and for me, colour and pattern are such an important part of creating a home that feels special.

In this bedroom, I wanted the wallpaper to really set the scene. It’s full of colour, movement and detail, and rather than being something to shy away from, I’ve embraced it and used it as the starting point for the whole scheme.

I love the way the coral velvet headboards pick up some of the warmer tones in the wallpaper, while the mustard throw adds another layer of colour. The blue accents bring a little freshness and stop the scheme from feeling too warm.

For me, luxury isn’t necessarily about using the most expensive things in a room. It’s about how everything comes together — the colours, the fabrics, the pattern, the textures and those little unexpected details that make a room feel individual.

I think we sometimes worry about using too much colour or pattern, but when it’s layered thoughtfully, it can make a space feel incredibly elegant, warm and inviting.

I love creating rooms that feel joyful, collected and completely personal to the people who live in them. That, to me, is what makes an interior truly luxurious.

And here it is — the final view of this little blue heaven.

A calm and elegant bedroom brought together through layers of beautiful pattern, soft textures and thoughtful details. From the chinoiserie wallpaper and scalloped cushions to the striped armchair, inviting dressing area and gorgeous curtains framing the view, every element works together to create a space designed for one thing: switching off and relaxing.

Under the eaves, we created a quiet retreat with another layer of pattern: a delicate striped armchair sitting against the beautiful blue chinoiserie wallpaper. Mixing patterns keeps the room feeling rich and considered, while staying within the same soft blue and neutral palette ensures it remains calm and cohesive rather than turning into a pattern party.

And then, of course, the dressing table. A little touch of everyday luxury, creating a dedicated space to sit, get ready and enjoy the room beyond simply sleeping in it. The sculptural legs add character and depth, proving that even the practical pieces can have a bit of drama.

This is what makes a bedroom feel truly special: layers of pattern, texture and beautiful details, combined with spaces designed to be used and enjoyed.

Because if you have room for a little corner of luxury… why not?

There’s something rather heavenly about blue.

For this bedroom, we created a calm and elegant sanctuary, layering a beautiful blue-and-white wallpaper with soft, tactile textiles. The result is a scheme that feels serene without ever becoming boring — because, frankly, beige had enough of the spotlight.

The delicate scalloped trim on the cushions adds just the right amount of detail, while the textured neutral cushions bring depth and drama in a beautifully understated way. Paired with the soft blue bedspread, patterned curtains and layers of texture, the whole room feels restful, sophisticated and quietly luxurious.

A lesson in how pattern, colour and texture can work together to create a bedroom that feels both calming and full of personality.

Interior design doesn't always need to shout. Sometimes, the details do all the talking.

A beautiful kitchen should work as hard as you do.

For us, good kitchen design is about more than how it looks — it’s about making everyday life easier. A generous larder keeps ingredients organised and close at hand, while carefully planned storage means everything has its place and is easy to reach.

The right appliances and equipment are just as important: ovens where you need them, plenty of workspace, practical prep areas, and thoughtful details that save time from the first coffee of the morning to dinner at the end of a busy day.

Because when the planning is right, the kitchen simply works — making cooking, entertaining and everyday routines feel faster, easier and more enjoyable. 🤍

And just beyond the dining table, the kitchen carries that same warm, considered feeling — rich terracotta cabinetry, soft natural tones, generous light, and a beautiful connection between cooking and entertaining.
