Black Raven Court signs installed today for

was called upon to manufacture bespoke illuminated sgns for F1 the Formula 1-inspired film,
produced by F1 champion Lewis Hamilton and back-dropped by real-time Grand Prix
across the globe, the high-octane action flick follows a retired racer (Brad Pitt) pulled back in
to mentor a young hotshot (Damson Idris).

The fictional F1 team ‘APX GP’ has a distinctive logo which can be spotted throughout the film.
We turned this logo into an array of custom signage, which was transported for filming at Symmetry Studios
in Aylesbury and at famous race circuits around the world.

The first of these signs took the form of vast, illuminated, double-sided lettering
mounted onto a curved plinth. This plinth was then positioned outside McLaren HQ in Woking,
casting its reflection onto the lake.

We also created a series of custom neon signs, one for each of the F1 circuits where filming took place.
Among these were iconic Grand Prix settings: Zandvoort, Spa, Yas Marina, Mexico City, Monza and Budapest.
The signage consisted of cut-out acrylic race tracks, replicating in miniature the tracks in question.
Over the top of these we laid the ‘APX GP’ logo and added LED halo illumination.

We continued the halo-illuminated APX GP logo across the set at Symmetry Studios.

that serves as a prequel to the 2016 film Rogue One. The brief required us to create various lightboxes and
LED signs to embellish the set at Pinewood Studios.

This second season of Andor is the final one, and is out now on Disney+
with Diego Luna reprising his role as rebel spy Cassian Andor

a multitude of illuminated signs including this halo illuminated planet logo with its saturn like rings.

lent its craftmanship to the second season of Andor, the Star Wars series that serves as a prequel
to the 2016 film Rogue One. We were commissioned to produce and install multiple custom embellishments for
the series, contributing to the immersive sci-fi experience that fans have come to expect from the Star Wars universe.

Much of the filming took place in the south-west corner of Twickenham Stadium, the ground floor of which was transformed
into a far-off planet.
We manufactured various lightboxes and signs and installed them at the stadium. NeonPlus LED featured heavily:
a neon-effect, digital tech that uses acrylic rather than the glass of traditional neon.

We also created pieces for the set at Pinewood Studios, including signs for a launderette and other public buildings,
with lightboxes adorning the interior spaces.

This second season of Andor is the final one, and is out now on Disney+
with Diego Luna reprising his role as rebel spy Cassian Andor

Fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise will likely have caught spin-off series Knuckles
on Paramount Plus. The show blends live-action with animation, and Kemp London further
contributed to its nostalgic retro-futurism with a hefty dose of colourful neon.

For on the on location filming whicj took place at Sofitel Heathrow the Kemp team fabricated
and installed a set of ‘RENO’ letters with an arched lightbox complete with surrounding decorative
gold fretwork.

Knuckles is available to watch now on Paramount Plus.

fabricated this 4m x 2m ‘National Bowling Stadium’ sign at our Essex works before
transporting it to Pinewood studios where the Kemp team installed it on set.
The sign comprises double outline white lettering and ruby red neon mounted
within open front trough letters and shaped backing trays.

For this traditional glass neon ‘Moon Bootz’ the Kemp team fabricated a moon and astronaut shaped open trough
backing complete with cool white, super blue and novial yellow neon inserts.

on Paramount Plus. The show blends live-action with animation, and Kemp London further
contributed to its nostalgic retro-futurism with a hefty dose of colourful neon.

The Kemp team manufactured several sets of signs to adorn the bowling alley scene,
providing the backdrop to an epic action sequence.
For these signs we used genuine neon glass across a palette of ruby red, coral pink,
warm white, super blue and yellow.
All these we installed on set at Pinewood Studios.

When the creators of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 decided to add a dash of custom lighting to the film’s palette,
Kemp London was happy to oblige.

We manufactured this vividly coloured ‘Chao Garden’ sign, underscored with Chinese characters.
all embellished with shimmer discs and rgb dome lamps.

It was installed for on-location filming on the streets of Canary Wharf in East London, which were soaked in
brightly coloured lights for the occasion.

Chao Gardens pop up throughout the Sonic video games. They are home to the Chao - a mystical, fruit-eating
species recognisable by their small, gelatinous bodies.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 had its UK cinema release on 21st December 2024.

This is the second time we’ve contributed to the Sonic universe: in 2023 we manufactured a range of custom
signs for spin-off series Knuckles, which is available to watch now on Paramount Plus.
