We are delighted to announce that Aino Grapin has been appointed as the new Chair of the Water Revolution Foundation. Aino succeeds Henk de Vries III, who has been a driving force behind the Foundation since its inception.

Aino joined the Foundation’s Board in March 2025, following her four year chairing role of the Sustainable Yacht Design Taskforce, and now steps into this prominent leadership role as part of a thoughtfully planned succession strategy designed to ensure continuity and momentum in the Water Revolution Foundation's mission.

We look forward to seeing Aino continue to build on the exceptional work of Henk de Vries III, whose leadership has laid a strong foundation for meaningful change in our industry.

The Winch Design team are looking forward to joining the Blue Marine Foundation for the London to Solent ride next week, covering a challenging 120km.

Since 2016, the ride has raised £2M to support 13 ocean conservation projects around the globe as part of Blue Marine's mission to restore ocean health.

We are delighted to introduce our latest QEST scholar Oliver Cook.

Oliver is a sculptor creating sculptural objects and vessels in alabaster. His self-taught technique and process have developed organically following traditional carving techniques. His scholarship with QEST will allow Oliver to participate in three different marble workshops over the course of 18 months.

It's official, the new Winch Design studio is now open!

The relocation of our studio is not just a change of address, it represents a new chapter, bringing together the diverse talents that make Winch Design so unique.

Bringing our entire creative team under one roof is highly anticipated, promising a fusion of ideas and expertise across our yachts, aviation, architecture and interiors teams.

The Winch Design team wish a fond farewell to our Barnes studio before we move into our new Putney address next week.

Winch Design moved into the Old Fire Station in 1998, and it will always hold countless special memories to all the team and those that visited. However, we are all very excited for the next chapter ahead, with the entire team under one roof in our beautiful brand-new studio. Watch this space!
