We are delighted to announce that a new range of “Don’t worry, be happy” carpets will be available at a Wool Classics showroom near you soon.

Followers of Wool Classics will know that our mission to produce the finest carpets and rugs from only organic biodegradable raw materials is core to our ethos and we are working towards being genuinely the greenest carpet and rug company on the planet. However we are also developing organic methods to grow wool faster to increase our yarn capacity. To this end we have tried giving our sheep a more holistic lifestyle including daily massages, scented candles along the hedges of their fields and even adding cannabis oil to their evening tea. However our breakthrough came when we discovered that playing Bob Marley to them caused their wool to grow at twice the normal growth rate.

Featured here is new Deco Dressing Room which is being showcased at the 2022 inaugural Wow!house event at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. This sophisticated room set features furniture in a soft and inviting colour palette, supplying a fresh taste on a traditional dressing room area.

Also featured is our Monterey Rug, a luxurious 50% pure new wool and 50% viscose woven Wilton design which provides a wonderful lustrous effect. Showcased in the Mink colourway, which works as the perfect contrast for the theme of the Dressing Room.

Monterey is available as a wall-to-wall carpet or a bound edge rug in a size to suit your interior needs. Available in a choice of 9 unique colours, with the ability to have it woven in any bespoke colour for a minimum of 80 square metres. Monterey can be edged in linen, suede or leather to produce a stunning rug area.

In this short video clip by it evaluates the negative effects which plastics are having on the natural environment and explore why wool is a natural material which should be considered more often in our daily lives.
