Merry Christmas to everyone who supported Frank's Gallery over the past 12 months.

I’ve completed the revamp of my personal living space.

The original space left me feeling overwhelmed and overstimulated — it wasn’t somewhere I could truly relax or unwind.

The challenge was to create a multifunctional environment: a space where I could work and create, but also rest, reset, and sleep. Functionality, structure, and ease were at the heart of the design process.

I introduced clear zones to support different needs — a dedicated work area, a space for entertaining, and a place to fully relax and get comfortable at the end of a long day.

At Frank’s Gallery, we believe that designing and decorating a living space goes far deeper than aesthetics. It’s about how you want to feel in that environment.

Our surroundings are part of our internal ecosystem. They help regulate our nervous systems, reflect who we are, and can even become part of our mental-health support structure.

What we love about these cold and wet winter days at Frank's Gallery are those bright sunny days in between when every thing feels a bit clearer and joyful.

It is the festive season after all and many of you might be busy with the final touches of getting your living spaces ready for the days of celebrations and family gatherings that are just around the corner.

Watch the video to see how Frank's Gallery gave an old armchair and family sofa a new lease on life by simply reupholstering them at a fraction of the cost of replacing these two furniture pieces with new ones.

When life changes… your environment can change with you.
Decluttering, detoxing and redecorating your living space isn’t about creating a perfect home — it’s about creating a space that supports your growth - one that feels safe, grounded, and aligned with who you’re becoming, not who you used to be.

This guide is for anyone moving through heartbreak, loss, identity shifts, or major life transitions.

For anyone who needs a gentle reset.

For anyone who needs a soft place to land.

Inside you’ll find:
• steps to declutter, detox and redecorate without overwhelm
• emotional detox tips
• digital cleanup ideas
• color psychology for healing
• support for building healthy routines
• reminders that you don’t have to do this alone

Save this for when you’re ready to start fresh.

Share it with someone who’s rebuilding.

And remember:

You are allowed to create a space that supports your healing.

You are allowed to shed past versions of yourself.

You can change who are and shouldn't be held ransom for past mistakes, limiting beliefs, how others see you and by outdated versions of who you were.

Take your time. Be kind to yourself and be your own trailblazer.

At Frank’s Gallery, we believe your external environment can profoundly shape your internal world — especially your mental health and sense of self.

Over the years, I’ve helped many clients transform their lives by creating living spaces that support their lifestyles and values, often sparking deep personal change from within.

With that same ethos, I decided to treat myself as I would a client navigating a major life transition.

In the past few months, I realised I had given far too much airtime to other people’s opinions and agendas — particularly those who I believed supported my ambitions and growth as much as I supported theirs. The result was a chaotic internal landscape in which I lost myself, felt overwhelmed, unworthy of love, and at times even shamed. My external environment soon mirrored that upheaval. (See the second photo for the “before” shot.)

Using that as my starting point, I began a brutally detailed decluttering process. I let go of anything and everything that no longer serves me or aligns with the vision I have for myself moving forward.

I wanted a space that reflects the clarity I’ve gained — clean lines, grounding earthy tones, and far less visual noise.

I’m taking my time with this ‘personal deep clean’. There’s no rush, no deadline, and no one to impress but myself. Already, I can feel a massive weight lifting — physically and psychologically.

I’ll share the final results of the project with you in due course.

Frank's Gallery is back in a very cold and wintery London.

Right now, I'm helping a few clients to sort out bits and bobs before the holiday season is in full swing.

One of those pre-Christmas tweaks was to reupholster a client's dining room chairs.

Call it a mini-makeover. It's as simple as taking care of and giving new appreciation to what you already have.

Looking at the next few weeks ahead, Frank's Gallery will be taking a break... rest, reset and perhaps even make few changes in my own living space.

But more on that later...

Watch this space.

Like all good things, the time for Frank's Gallery on this beautiful island has come to an end.

The work done at this holiday apartment was just the foundation for a much bigger project - to turn this holiday hideout into an elegant and stylish retreat... but that will happen in due course.

For now, much needed repairs and renovations have been done on the balcony, all internal wood work and the bathrooms.

Frank's Gallery is leaving the island of Mallorca with a pep in his step, ready for new creative projects and to work with enthusiastic clients who are eager to create beautiful living spaces for themselves with a little bit of help from me.

Frank's Gallery completed their first continental project yesterday on the island of Mallorca... and today was a day of exploring the island.

It's so important to create beautiful memories for ourselves and to live joyfully in spite of the obstacles life throws in our way.

This project (and trip) has been rewarding in so many ways. For one, it was Frank's Gallery's first project outside the UK... and that is something to be proud of.

After a week of hard grafting, Frank's Gallery simply had to escape the fumes of paint and varnish and the endless sneezing and itching from sanding dust.

It was time to treat myself with a mooch around the Old Town of Palma, the capital of Mallorca.

Earlier this week, my client introduced me to a famous fabric made only in Mallorca called “tela de llengües” — literally “cloth of tongues” in Catalan.

Also known as Mallorcan ikat, this fabric is characterised by its distinctive, colourful, blurred, flame-like patterns created using a traditional ikat dyeing technique. It’s typically made of cotton and used for upholstery, curtains, cushions, and other decorative pieces.

My mission in Palma? To find a fabric store that sells tela de llengües — and I was not disappointed!

Needless to say, I couldn’t resist treating myself to a few yards of this beautiful fabric.

I rounded off the afternoon with my usual mooch tradition — a selection of empanadas... and as I headed back to to my car and I listened to sounds of people talking in the street and a Spanish guitar weeping a melancholy melody I thought: It's the simple things that make life beautiful.

Now that’s what I call a perfect mooch!

Breakfast is served with a bucket of paint...

After 2 days of sanding down the balcony walls and ceiling it's time to get painting... but first a little bit of sustenance... and look at that view!... and rainbow for extra luck.

It's a new day with new exciting challenges as Frank's Gallery is off to the island of Majorca where I will give a holiday apartment a quick spruce up.

No major decorating and creative designs this time. I'll simply be giving love and attention to a weather-warn balcony, fixing damaged bathroom ceilings and refreshing the internal wood work.

Still, it's my first 'international' job and that is definitely something I will enjoy.

Job's done!

This project was very special for me. My client had bought her first ever property and was eager to turn her new apartment into a beautiful and elegant city sanctuary... and she asked Frank's Gallery to help her achieve just that.

Creating more storage was the focus - bespoke shelves as well as additional wardrobe space were created.

My client chose earthy soft and calming colours, and her furniture and soft furnishings will be neutral colours.

More work will be done in the kitchen, with a new kitchen hopefully arriving in the next few weeks. More signature raw edge oak shelves will also be added to continue the theme of using natural wood through the apartment.

But for now, my work is done...
