.london installed a Fibre I.R.S. and satellite signal system (FIRS), thus providing a single satellite dish and aerial array to cover the entire property’s needs.

The rest of our work involved installing background music systems throughout the front-of-house areas, which required various audio solutions to suit all design requirements, mostly incorporating invisible speakers from various brands.

The leading electrical contractor specified these products upon tender. All audio zones are controlled via a centrally managed system using a curated playlist and music sources specific to the hotel.

Our years of expertise working in a wide range of historic and listed prime residential properties enabled our installation teams to sympathetically conceal the specified audio products within the fabric of the Victorian building.

However, when the hotel reopened, certain guestrooms had sound resonance issues, and we were appointed to perform remedial works to assist the designers and the hotel in correcting them as quickly as possible. In addition, we presented a different upgraded TV solution for the bathrooms to ensure an enhanced guest experience in every room.

Because the hotel had already reopened, we ensured that all remedial works were undertaken with utmost sensitivity. We also operated outside FOH service hours and executed as much rack-building and pre-programming work as possible off-site.

.london , with years of experience working in the ultra-prime residential sector, has luxury serviced apartments in the heart of Mayfair.

The Brief:

Having been commissioned by Hyde Park Residence, our brief was to create a ‘home-away-from-home’ lifestyle experience in 38 of its newly created serviced apartments across two properties on London’s Park Lane. Incorporating many of the smart home and audio-visual technologies, we specialise in for projects in ultra-prime residential houses, we were also asked to supply a high-end video entry system and centralised international video sources that could be distributed to each apartment upon check-in. In addition, we were to devise a multilingual app for guests to use that conforms to HPR brand standards.

55 & 60 Park Lane is a curated collection of individually designed serviced apartments across two properties in the heart of Mayfair on Park Lane. Available for short—and longer-term stays, it also benefits from 24-hour on-site security, a 24-hour concierge service, full housekeeping with a twice-weekly maid service, and the ability to personalise furnishings and spaces. Attracting a high-end international client base, the apartments are stylish, elegant, and discreet.
Our task was to design and implement a solution that allowed for a very broad spectrum of TV services coupled with the minimum amount of technology installed in each apartment. This required the thorough development of a centralised distribution option powered by enterprise-grade infrastructure. We also sourced and supplied multi-room audio and Aquavision TVs for the bathrooms.

Over the past 12 years, Gary and Robin have scaled Cornflake to be the market-leading company that it is today. As Cornflake enters its next stage of growth and development, Gary is looking to be more hands-on with fewer clients and more day-to-day interaction/involvement in the delivery of projects going forward. With Cornflake’s blessing and support, therefore, Gary is going to be setting up his own new business, delivering lighting, shading and home automation.
