The other side of the kitchen/diner…

In case you were wondering what was happening on the other side of that copper peninsula, here is the dining space from this project. We used Bauwerk limewash on the walls, which gives that soft, chalky texture and depth (even better in real life).

I love the client’s DJ decks in the corner… can I please be invited to the next house party :) !

I’m so excited to finally be sharing this finished project with you — and I had to start with this stunner of a kitchen!

Working with clients who truly trust the process is always something special — and this project was exactly that. From the very beginning, they gave me the creative freedom to really shape their home, and I’m so proud of where we landed.

Layered neutrals, soft contrasts, and a space that feels calm, warm, and quietly confident — proof that beige is anything but boring.

More to come from the rest of this home very soon…

I’m on the hunt for bedding… I’ve never strayed from white bedding, and I always suggest white bedding to clients too as I think it looks clean and crisp and let’s the bedroom scheme do the talking.

However, I’ve recently been asked whether a darker colour might be more practical with kids and dogs piling in the bed, but I’m not sure I can be persuaded to stray from white.

What do you think? Have you seen coloured bedding work beautifully?

Another before and after, this time in the kitchen/diner/family room. This room already had amazing architectural details, but they have now been elevated! Helped immensely by this incredible chandelier!

This room was an edesign project, so my clients received the designs and a shopping list… and it was theirs to implement. I think the cat is the perfect finishing touch!

Sharing an edesign testimony I’ve received today… it’s so great working with clients who value the importance of good design.

Interior design isn’t a shallow and materialistic concept. Interiors are so transformative to your mental health and well-being. For example, do you know that clutter can affect our anxiety levels, sleep, and ability to focus? And that’s not just “stuff”, it’s also cramming a room with too much furniture and not leaving space around furniture to let it “breathe”. So a well thought out space with effective storage is good for you!

Are you interested to hear more about the positive effect of interiors on our physical and mental well-being?

I love this battered dressing table, there’s a lot of vintage pieces in my house from and as well as being bargains, they also bring character to every room.

It’s always worth reviewing your interior scheme and seeing where a vintage piece might slot in. Even better if it’s a family piece that you’ve inherited. And it doesn’t matter whether your house is old or new, vintage pieces can be incorporated anywhere!

We’ve spent the morning at my daughter’s nursery graduation (yes it’s a thing apparently)… and awww I cant believe she’s off to school! Where does the time go!?

She started out as such a nervous and shy little girl, but she’s become so confident and much more outgoing. Proud to see her blossom and such a proud mummy! 💜
