Brennan & Burch co-founders Lisa & Majida have been friends since the 1980s when they met at school in Camden Town and were heavily influenced by street style, rockabillies, punk, casuals and acid house. They started their independent fashion brand specialising in limited edition streetwear in 2000 to celebrate popular culture. After 10 years of selling worldwide in stores such as La Foret Harajuk

u, Selfridges and Topshop, they have turned their effort to the home and branched out into interiors where clients have included Heals, Paul Smith and Hotel Pelirocco. You are interested in art and want your home to reflect this; you love vintage or retro style; you are inspired by fashion and music subcultures; you like to express your individuality and you find it difficult to discover items you identify with strongly. In a crowded market you can rely on Brennan & Burch to design bold interiors with a quirky edge that are sometime odd but never dull. Brennan & Burch create pieces that you can collect and treasure to add a unique quirkiness and pattern to your home.

Time to listen to the talent of the future...

Do you live in Vange, Basildon or surrounding areas of Essex and want something to do this summer? Are you aged 8 - 25 and want to try new activities with your family? All food and materials provided and no entry fee.

Big Smile Collective's talented young creative members will teach you how to draw anime characters, share juggling skills and perform live music. Screen-print your own t-shirt with artists Lynne and Ian from Hippo Screenprinters and learn streetdance with Ze from TheCrook'dSmile. Take part in old school games in the garden and improve art skills with industry professionals Lis & Maj Brennan and Burch at Youth Art Factory.

This -FREE- fun day has been co-produced alongside young members of Timberlog Youth Centre with the support of Essex Youth Service and Kool Carers. It has everything under one roof for a fun packed event funded by Essex County Council and Find Your Active - Basildon - thanks a million!

We will be joining Curly Cloud Art,
Family Scribbles and Retro from Scratch
in the artists corner curated by Charlotte Robinson at Strawberry Fair. Today Sunday 14 June 2026 from 12-5pm in King George's playing fields, Brentwood, Essex CM13 2FD.

Brennan & Burch will show you how to personalise mini notebooks. You can customise your notebook any way you like with sequins, glitter, stickers, pens, glue, scissors and ribbon to personalise it. Noteooks are linefree and we encourage you to use at home to sketch and draw or jot down thoughts and feelings.

Other local artists will help you make pinwheels, strawberry fingerprint fridge magnets and strawberry crown creations. All art and sport activities are free courtesy of Brentwood Borough Council
