In the coming February, it will be 4 years since we lost our beloved Dad.

At least twice a year since he has passed I spruce up his resting place with perennials and some seasonal flowers.

But the rabbits and I am assuming muntjac have a field day eating all the petals off anything we plant or put in the fresh cut flower holders. So this time round I am hoping that I have been clever in choosing plants that have interesting shapes,colours and textures that will outsmart the flower eating scavengers and provide a non stop show of colour!

My dad was a perfectionist and a stickler for detail - I know where I get that from then ! But he always liked a bit of flashy in his life. He liked to be noticed, so I am hoping even thou he is on the other side he can look down and spot his resting place because it’s the one that is millimetre perfect and demonstrates that we still keep an eye on him everyday !

This variation of is so beautiful but so delicate. The great thing is, if a stem breaks off, it’s likely to grow if pushed back in the soil !
