Perfect day for a date with The Curry Mistress when it’s this grey and gloomy! We are here to warm up the cockles of your bellies & heart tonight Clapton Craft

We champion pukka Indian homestyle cooking. Honest food that is unapologetic and steeped in nostalgia. Inspired by family recipes as well as my own signature creations these are dishes that feel so comforting especially on a grey wet London day like this. So come on down and get cozy and belly full with us tonight.

Thank you everyone who came and dined with us last night. What a crowd! And you all loved the food! Let’s have a repeat of this tonight!

Lately

What a night it was welcoming friends and family and newbies alike who all gathered to celebrate love, friendships and life itself - great food, delish wine, good company, laughter and lots of chatter echoing all through the hallways of the Whitechapel Gallery and beyond … pouring over on to the streets into the heart of vibrant East London.

Am especially grateful that one of my most loved humans and my sister in crime Sabah was able to come for the Pop-Up. These lovely food pics are courtesy of Sabah and you can also see her modelling our merch on slide 4.

Thank you all for coming. Beyond grateful for an incredibly successful evening filled with love and pure joy.

SUNDAY CURRY CLUB Clapton Craft

Hosted a small impromptu SUNDAY CURRY CLUB yesterday for friends & fam which got us to think this could become a regular thing. What’s better than having a long boozy relaxing Sunday lunch and a good old catch up with your besties. Everyone is so rushed for time during the week so this really is a perfect way to end the week. This Sunday was that day! Thank you everyone who came and devoured the food! Think we all slept really well and had spicy dreams haha

Celebrating delicious Indian home style cooking- bringing people together for an evening of art, culture, food and drinks in one of Londons great institutions.

Think sharing plates that are flavour packed featuring some classics as well as some of our most popular dishes, done in true Mawi style - bold, spicy, hot, sweet, sour and tangy.

We can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces in the heart of East Londons vibrant multi cultural community - celebrating and showcasing Mawi’s culinary skills for one night only!

Calling on all seafood lovers! Our King Prawn curries have constantly been best sellers. So much so we added a new version on the menu - The Madras Prawn curry made its debut two weeks ago and it’s been a big hit. That said we will defo bring back the creamy coconut one again but for now come enjoy the Madras curry it will blow your mind. No lie!
