We are officially on a break right now deep in the French countryside. Saw these beauties and could not resist. They are so vibrant and beautiful and so Indian in colour. Working on ideas and new recipes and am excited to see what I come up with.

Last week saw the launch of The Curry Mistress collaboration with cult pizza institution 𝙑𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙤𝙤 𝙍𝙖𝙮’𝙨 to mark 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠. Voodoo Ray's

It’s been so exciting – like coming full circle! Being an OG Dalston girlie I have been frequenting this iconic spot ever since it opened in 2012. And now almost a decade and a half later here we are doing this badass collab with our fave New York style pizza joint. How gangsta is that!?

Below are the two limited edition Indian inspired Pizzas we created for the collab.

The 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙋𝙞𝙯𝙯𝙖 – Masala tomato base with spicy minced pork chunks, chopped fennel, fior di latte cheese and lashings of The Curry Mistress’ signature green chilli and coriander chutney. The vegetarian option – 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙞 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧 creamy saag base topped with crumbled masala paneer, leeks, fior di latte cheese and lashings of our special spicy beetroot sauce.

Available till the 22nd October, so go give them a taster if you are in Dalston!

Our signature chick pea fried rice has always been a best seller ever since we introduced this on the menu. Simple, yet so delicious, bursting with pure desi flavours and umami. Our own little secret recipe! A must try if you have never had it before.

We are now taking a much needed break in France for two weeks where I will be dreaming up of many new recipes to add to our repertoire. Exciting things, new adventures, and new residencies and collaborations coming up so keep watching this space people.

A DATE WITH THE CURRY MISTRESS- MARGATE

Last night we hosted a double SOLD OUT Curry Mistress dinner Louie on Sea coinciding with the opening of the trailblazing French conceptual artist, photographer and writer Sophie Calle’s exhibition Turner Contemporary.

So grateful to each and everyone of you who came to dine with us. You made this event a real success and we couldn’t have done this without your support so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you to the entire crew Louie on Sea for being the best team and to Chris Greenwood for the opportunity and his constant support.

We will be back in Margate very very soon for another fabulous evening of delicious food so look out. New dates and venue to be announced soon!
